I'm going back to my early childhood days and looking for some FMV games to play, and therefore need some recommendations. Preferably ones I can purchase from here, although other platforms are just fine.

Titles already in my list are:

Phantasmagoria
11th Hour
7th Guest
Under a Killing Moon

Thanks for any suggestions!
Realms of the Haunting
Gabriel Knight 2
I see you have Under a Killing Moon. Do a search on Tex Murphy, and you will also find the others.
There was also Wing Commander III, IV and V.

One that I remember (not available here) was a game on Sega CD called "Night Trap" which starred Dana Plato from the old sit-com "Different Strokes".
I swear there was a thread with this somewhere already extensively covered but I can't find it.

Gabriel Knight 2 is probably the best FMV game that I know of, though I haven't played through the Wing Commander games yet (eeek!), so those are worth looking at too!
others not mentioned:

Return to Zork
Zork: Nemesis
Zork: Grand Inquisitor
Bad Mojo
Harvester

Phantasmagoria games are ok too.

I quite enjoyed Night Trap, still have it on my Sega CD. I still remember the backlash that game received back then. *sigh* Politicians.

If it's ever released here, or somewhere else, I'd definitely buy a PC edition.
spycraft was quite awesome.
Ripper (with Christopher Walken) and
Black Dahlia (with Dennis Hopper)

Excellent FMV adventure games, although as of yet unavailable on GOG.. Must-haves if you like challenging puzzles and a good mystery.

Well, if you like flight sims in your FMVs there's Privateer 2: The Darkening.

Oh, Spycraft! I loved that game. Spycraft: TGG is why I signed up to play Majestic, if you remember that. Different but similar enough. Added to my list.

I never did try Ripper, for whatever reason. But I know it's made fun of quite often for its acting, especially Walken. Added!

As for Black Dahlia, I don't remember too much of that one. Was it a point and click, or did you move a character? Either way, added. Probably not a good thing to admit, but I liked Hell: A Cyberpunk Thriller (played the 3DO version), and Hopper was pretty good in that.

I also liked voyeur, it's a sega cd type of fmv game. but had a cool murder mystery/political thing going for it.
Am I really the only Star Wars geek that likes crap FMV along with his blaster and saber play? No one in here mentioned Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight?

That's not an fmv game.

Don't listen to that guy. Gabriel Knight 2 is an unplayable mess.

You know I saw the Privateer and Wing Commander references so I figured just cutscenes would count. It's not here, and I never played as much of it as I would have liked but I remember Iron Helix being interesting.

What about the Journeyman games? Weren't the early ones FMV?
