paladin181: Does Warrior within still have Godsmack in it? If so, then it could disappear sooner or later due to licensing. Just putting it out there. I own the games, but I haven't played in a LONG time.
I remember then, they were a terrible band lol

deja65: Not really. You just need to beat the living hell out of her.It is a 2 stage battle with a cutscene in between and the mentioned checkpoint,if you make it there.Try to block as many attacks as possible, since when she lands a blow,it really hurts ;).

darthspudius: Any hints for Sands of Time? Just installed it haha.
It's been very long but

Wall is your friend. Climb, jump, attack, use wall to gain advantage in combat.

The game is beautiful, but movement and feel of gravity is a bit off. Especially if you have played Warrior Within. Otherwise, it's simply good game

I remember being frustrated in one elevator battle.

So far I have got past the first boss. I was having fun until he showed up with his cronies. lol
I remember my old PS2 copy of Warrior Within having a game breaking bug of the "save before you enter this room, not after" variety. Sure enough, I had to start the whole damn game over. Good thing it's a great game, backtracking and all.
So I'm like 93% of my way through Sands of Time and this game has got progressively worse for the last few levels. The combat goes from tedious to down right awful, then they dump you in an elevator fight and expect you to enjoy yourself. Proceed by removing the time powers and half the amount of check points making the last few levels about as fun as wiping your arse with sand paper.

Any reason to continue to the end? It seems to be taking what should be a great game and making lots of endless stupid mistakes with the design.

I finished it again a couple of days earlier. It is definitely worth pushing to the end.The game story is just so damn well written and wrapped up that it left me breathless at the end.And there is even a kissy kissy scene at end.Don’t give up ;).Cheers

Pro tip: Keep blocking as many attacks as you can,and try to hit multiple enemies in rapid success. As soon as you disabled them, catch them quickly with the sand knife.Especially important for the tower platform sequence ;).

I'm not feeling the enthusiasm lol. Don't get me wrong, I love the music, the art style and most of the level puzzles are fantastic. But since the Prince climbed out of the well, the game has just felt a bit forced. Also wall jumping downwards, who thought THAT was a good idea?! Urgh! >_<

Update: I hate you lol. My stubbornness got the best of me and I finally finished it. That end boss is um... underwhelming. Suits me, I hate boss battles but still haha.
