infinite9: I definitely recommend watching Another. It is basically a horror mystery with plenty of blood that deals with a curse that kills off students at a certain class and anyone who associates with them unless postponed or removed for that year. It deals with revealing the cause of the curse and figuring out how to remove it for that school year.

Plenty of interesting twists and dialogue and it is quite rewarding despite being only 12 episodes long.

kalirion: Another is more like Final Destination: The Anime than an actual horror. It starts with a lot of horror/suspense mood, but that gets shattered once the campy deaths start.
Some of the deaths felt "campy" but it did not seem like Final Destination to me since there was a bit more mystery that gets revealed and solved.
Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan - Tsuioku Hen

My favorite anime (not to be confused with the series which is way worse). If you like seinen, blood, swordplay, mature romance and tragedy, this is definitely the one to watch. And even if you don't like that, watch it anyway. It's the only anime I rated 10/10.
Below that, there are gems like Kaiba and Shigurui which aren't well known, Monster which will definitely become a classic, Code Geass (because I'm a sucker for real robots) and Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu: Arata Naru Tatakai no Overture (movie retelling of the first two episodes) because Legend of the Galactic Heroes is pretty good.
Is the Stein's;Gate anime worth watching if I already played the game? Like, are there enough story differences or is it just a summary?

I want to listen to Okabe's VA (Also Pandora's Actor in Overlord) more, but don't really want to have the same exact story again.

Oh and how about the Konosuba LN, anyone read that? is it even better than the anime?

The anime is quicker and more condensed. As such, it did skip over some stuff that are in the VN. But there's one significant change in the anime that affects like 4 episodes of it.

Interesting that you like Miyano's voice, I still remember you said you didn't watch Death Note in our Anime/Manga thread. His work in DN won him an award after all, maybe even his first. Btw, what do you think of him as Sweet Mask?

My advice for anyone who likes an anime that was adapted from a LN is to go read the LN simply because the chance of the anime adapting everything till the end is almost zero. Also, read from the start because the anime missed out and changed some stuff.

Oh he's sweet mask too? I only noticed in S;G and Overlord because he hammed it up to 11 in those and even as someone who doesn't speak half a word of japanese I could make a connection. I love the way he can change intonation mid-sentence.

Hmm maybe I should give Death Note a chance too then if he's in there.

Yeah, he can be very dramatic when he wants to. Very experienced VA, even released some singles and albums. But don't let me mislead you on DN, his character and his voice isn't that over-the-top there. At least from what I can remember. As for Sweet Mask... I wouldn't want to spoil anything, let's just say he has some anger/hate issues but his voice isn't that over-the-top either. Most likely also why you didn't notice it's him earlier. (:
Finishing Mob Psycho 100, beggining was very meh for me but later on it gets quite nice, the recent popularity of overpowered characters tho is starting to get a bit repetitive <.<

I'm curious what makes someone check out Mob's anime in the first place, is it because of OPM? Back when I was reading the manga, not many people even knew about it or they're simply dissuaded by the art. Heck, even I wasn't really that interested into it till like 60+ chapters but it's for different reasons... I still haven't watched all the episodes but I like what they did with the anime in comparison to the manga. Some events were re-ordered and expanded upon, and it's quite surprising how the correct use of colors can make that artstyle work well in animation. Btw, which other OP characters?
By the way, is renaming a thread possible? Anime Recommendations? --> Anime/Manga/etc General Thread or something like that would be way better.

Anyway, as for me, I finished Versailles no Bara recently and Touch just two hours earlier. Getting 141 episodes done in seven days is quite decent. I wish holidays would last a bit longer, there are still some things to watch.

Next up are the two sequel movies to the Touch series and after that...Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei, I guess. I could also try to get the 50 episodes of Golgo 13 and the two movies done on the weekend, but I doubt I'm going to make it. Alternatives for the weekend are Eden of the East + movies and The Big O.
With Keijou and Haikyuu being finished I'm just waiting for the new season at this point I think... I think I've watched the S3 finale for Haikyuu 30+ times now already, it was beautiful :D

Ow, yay. Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! season 2 next season. That's something at least.

PM a mod and ask him to do it, if you're the one who started the thread.
I watched through Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation and it was pretty cool although I could have done without the over-the-top "Let's solve this mystery" flash scene whenever the female osteologist puts on her gloves to do the investigation and analysis sequences. The stories in the series are pretty interesting and the investigations sequences are well done. I also like how the osteologist really likes her work. The show was from 2015 and I hope it gets a second season.

I would get the "light novel" version if it was available on Kindle in English.

I've watched mob because of its good score on myanimelist and yea by overpowered characters i mainly meant one punch man :p
Everything has a good rating on MAL though as it's heavily inflated there.
