Well I just watched one called Irregular at Magic High School. It was better than I expected in that the setting was pretty interesting and it deals with the training of de facto soldiers who combine magic with technology and get used in various international schemes. I would recommend giving it a try.

The characters can be interesting although sometimes in a disturbing way. The main characters are brother and sister but if you look at official images promoting the show, you'll see that they are closer than they should be. The show also taught me the term "bro con."
Kuromukuro - anime series are very very good! Mecha and adventures and a good love story inside.
Noragami, Tokyo Ghoul, Ajin
I just watched Re:Zero and the 2016 Berserk series. I definitely recommend those. Re:Zero surprisingly took up a darker view of the concept of being forced to repeat a time cycle and did it well.

infinite9: 2016 Berserk series. I definitely recommend those.
How is it in any way worth watching aside from the Berserk story?

Fillary: Noragami, Tokyo Ghoul, Ajin
Ajin animation seemed kinda weird. :l
Like the manga though.

If anyone watches Tokyo Ghoul make sure you watch the uncensored version.
Censorship is stuff like half or more the screen getting covered in black/white.

Tanaka-kun Is Always Listless - Slice of life story about a dude who is just the epitome of "lazy". Only watched the first episode so far, but seems alright.

WWW.Wagnaria - Continuation of the Wagnaria series, but with a new set of characters. Pretty funny and I think my favorites are the guy who is in debt to a family and the daughter of said family that takes great joy in tormenting him.

Occultic;Nine - The first episode was very fast paced. Don't really know where it's going, but seems to be about a kid wanting to make money off of his supernatural/occult website. He seems to want to investigate paranormal activity as well. Tough to say more about it as I think I need to rewatch the first episode.

Ajin animation is weird agree but the plot is fantastic so you will forget about the animation.
Unfortunately I watched Tokyo Ghoul with censorship :(

The plot is great. :D

As did I, which is why I highly advise people not to bother with that version. :l

I will admit that I am just sort of getting into the Berserk setting since I vaguely remember watching a little of the original series. I recommend it for the animation which felt like a breath of fresh air from some of the other styles I have seen. That and I really love the sound that oversized sword (technically it is more of an edged iron club) makes it when gets used in battle.

There is another season planned for 2017.

I guess that makes sense in a way.
I just hate the low framerate on the animation, it looks terrible, I'm not really a fan of the art style either.
Lots of people didn't like the CGI in the movies either but I would recommend those as they're pretty good.
Poco's Udon World - This season's mega-dosing of cute. It's a cute overload. It's another one of the single-guy-taking-care-of-a-kid, but with a twist. Guy goes home to take care of his deceased father's estate. Said father ran a small udon shop, now closed. Guy finds a scruffy child sleeping in the shop. Kid can't really speak, but takes an immediate liking to the guy. Only two episodes in, but my word, the feels are in full effect. It's somewhat like Sweetness & Lightning.
Is it my imagination or a lot of the new anime this season is either for kids or just plain lousy? (not seeing much that has a coherent story .....)....awful animation styles..

I've only watched one so far. Most of it didn't seem interesting. :p

The new Natsume's Book of Friends season is in line with the previous ones so far. Which means it's pretty great, so long as one enjoys slice of life.

It is the fifth season however, so there's a lengthy prerequisite to appreciating it.
