omega64: The manga is finished at this point.

WBGhiro: What really? Damn, I need to check the rest of it then.

I usually drop mangas and check on them years later to see where they're at. The only issue by issue relationship I have is with Berserk... and it's too painful to keep up with anything else.
Yeah, didn't really like the ending to Sankarea but at least it ended. ;)

WBGhiro: Is there any weird drama/romance anime like Sankarea worth watching? if the pacing wasn't so messed up that would probably be one of my favourite anime.
There's Dusk Maiden of Amnesia I guess, though I thought the tone/etc. was better in the manga.

That doesn't look too bad, I'll give it a shot. Thanks!
Anyone have any suggestions for cerebral anime in line with the stuff by Satoshi Kon? I was thinking about doing a rewatch of Paranoia Agent, but I think I'd rather try something new.

On an unrelated point, I just finished watching Ergo Proxy. I liked it for its setting, but overall I thought the story was kind of "meh."

Tatami Galaxy, Mind Game, Ping Pong, Kaiba, Mononoke (not the Ghibli one), Utena, Eccentric Family?
Pokemon?

I wish I had some new phone so I could understand what is pokemon go, also I could rob people. =)
Mayoiga - The Lost Village- has a nice premise but it has a weak ending. Up to episode 8 I adored it. I read that it got kickstarted and that many were hyped because of the original plot and great drawing quality. Maybe they'll make a season 2 at some point but if you, like me, are used to open or logic endings, it ended in a fair way.

I've only watched Kon's movies, but 3 out of 4 seemed to be primarily about identy, perception and reality vs illusion.

So Serial Experiments Lain would be my recommendation, if you haven't watched it already.

A particular episode of Kino's Journey also comes to mind, but it doesn't feel as competent as Kon's works when it comes to those themes, and it's only a single episode in the 13 episodes anime. Kino's Journey overall is excellent though.

Out of crispy's recommendations, I've seen Revolutionary Girl Utena and Kaiba. Both are good recommendations as well.

I'm enjoying Danganronpa so far. Let's hope it stays that way.
I do get why this wouldn't really have worked as a VN though.

Why is the blood red, no more pink blood? O_o

Wait, how did you get the red blood?

I know, that's what I said. :P
In the first episode of the new anime that's currently running someone died and the blood wasn't pink though.
Might've just been they made it black to censor? *confused*

Someone had a nosebleed in the second episode and it was pink, so I guess that might've been it.

Have you played both games?

Watch the Future Arc episode first, then the Despair Arc.

This anime will finish the story of the first two games, the third game will have totally different characters.
Future Arc eps 2 releases today.
