Touwa: I've recently played neptunia and im wondering about the anime, anyone seen it? Is it any good?
It's funny at times, but nothing memorable. Never played the games, so don't know how they compare .

Very similiar if what you said is true.

I believe the anime takes place after the events of HNV2, as Nepgear (? think that's her name, the second generation of characters) is in it. So if you're wanting to watch it, it may be good to read up on the plotline for that. I'm not 100% sure on that though.

Good idea, thanks!

Niggles: Erased (i loved the story -- really sucks you in)
Dimension W (different type of premise -- awesome OP)
Hai to Gensou no Grimgar (yes another about an rpg party stuck in another world - but this one feels more personal, more about individuals working in party, mechanics, how they grow. )
Erased was easily my favorite of last season, and Grimgar was very good though I wish it had been faster paced in some parts (did we really need 8 minutes spent on discussing underwear problems?)

Dimension W though I found rather disappointing. Maybe it's because the metaphysical aspects were too confusing for me to enjoy, I dunno. But Mira was best girl of the season (with the possible exception of Airi from Erased).

Strangely enough, my second favorite of the season was Schwarzesmarken. I didn't really care for the first 3 episodes and put it on hold, but then continued watching two weeks ago and boy did it pick up!

Konosuba was pretty great as well, a hilarious "stuck in MMO-like world" counterpoint to Grimgar's seriousness.

I don't like, quit watching on 5 or 6 series.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I finished it this week, so:

Yamada's First Time (aka B Gata H Kei)

No, it's not hentai. If I had to describe it in a single sentence, I'd say "They just wanna bang, but their own inexperience and a mercilessly obstructive universe keep getting in the way." Teen-to-adult sex comedy, but it's rather tame (imo). It made me laugh. And it's cheap (part of Funimation's S.A.V.E. line).

Ushio to Tora is continuing.
I'm excited, the two new episodes were great.
If you're looking for a good comedy anime i can recommend Soredemo Machi wa Mawatte Iru.
Another nice anime i watched this week:

Natsu no Arashi! + Natsu no Arashi! Akinai-chuu.
I'm currently watching Akatsuki no Yona. It's a great fantasy anime IMO.

It's not bad, but it's incomplete. And will probably never be completed...

Yep, i have watched 14 episodes so far and already thought so. Though i do hope there will be a second season which concludes the story in a few years.
Damn, I've started Outlaw Star and it's really good.

omega64: Which is my point.
Even in the anime you'll need to get through a few episodes of exposition.
I'd say it's eventually worth it, convincing people of that fact is really hard though.
For what it's worth, I really, really liked Stein's Gate a lot (as someone who doesn't appreciate most 'must-see-anime')

Edit : and those past months (10+) I didn't find anything new and interesting. No need to throw me blind recommendations, dear people, just post in here what you liked recently. And why.
