Steins;Gate is really hard to recommend as a VN. As you have hours of exposition to get through before it gets "exciting".

Which is my point.
Even in the anime you'll need to get through a few episodes of exposition.
I'd say it's eventually worth it, convincing people of that fact is really hard though.

Could someone possibly recommend to me, some anime (or manga), with:

1) Cats!
2) Creatures that are beastman Cats!
3) Girls that dress in cat outfits!
4) Girls that act like cats in cute moments!
5) Girls doing the "cat dance", or something similar...

Nope.

5 I only currently remember Chokotto Sister doing a cat dance it's also in the ED. But the girl Choko is young and if you watch the dvd version there is some things that were uncensored in it.
Macross frontier had Ranka Lee with a very short scene with a cat dance i think,even a commercial i think she also does it.
Seto no hanayome also very short appearence of acting like a cat with cat ears and tail i think for a very short moe moment.
Tsukuyomi moon phase another anime with young girl though she is a vampire think she wears cat ears all the time.
Sorry my memory is not good but that is all i could remember in a short time and even checking through a list of anime watched.

kore wa zombie desu ka this one i only saw a short scene of a girl going nyaa with cat ears on youtube.
I don't know if Potemayo belongs here but it was at least funny.

Omamori Himari didn't watch that one though i read the manga the girl is a cat girl who also acts like one when she changes into that mode.

You'll stay the night going through an obnoxious amount of tedious exposition.
Which is delivered in textbook format.
Sigh, why did I plough through all that muck again?
Oh right, boobs.
There are a couple new movies which re-tell the Golden Age Arc and they're AWESOME!
You should watch those.
I tend to prefer silly comedies. With some notable exceptions, I don't think japanese do serious all that well.
And the endings always disappoint.

Male lead with a healing factor a lá Wolvwerine which is the only thing that allows him to survive the female cast.
