For starters, you'll notice they actually had a budget bigger than 2 cups of rice

Death & Rebirth: Death is a recap of the first 24 episodes of the TV series. It consists mostly of footage from the series. If you have the Platinum Collection, you can skip Death because the few new scenes that it includes have been incorporated into the "Director's Cut" versions of episodes 21-24. Rebirth is simply the first half hour of The End of Evangelion and can also be skipped.
The End of Evangelion: This is an alternate ending to the series that replaces episodes 25 and 26; however, some believe it takes place concurrently with them. There is much debate about the nature and relationship of the two endings. EoE is... interesting. It's somewhat disappointing in my opinion, but it certainly has its moments and is worth watching.
TL;DR: Watch the Platinum Collection and The End of Evangelion. Skip Death & Rebirth. Go online and have endless debates about what exactly happened. ;)

Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone: Retelling of the first six episodes of the animated series. Mostly follows the original story. Decent.
Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance: Things start to diverge here. There's some good stuff, and there's some really bad stuff (Mari = so awful). Overall... it's okay.
Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo: Completely off the rails, and not in a good way. Introduces a dozen or more new questions (there's a time skip...) without answering previous ones. Terrible.
Could the last installment of Rebuild save it? Possibly, but I don't think it's likely.

Rebirth is just the first half hour or so of EoE (released before the full movie was completed).

If you're familiar with a lot of anime then I would highly recommend these comedy series: Magical shopping arcade Abenobashi and Genshiken.
Abenobashi is a parody series spoofing most sub genres and Genshiken is a anime sitcom of otaku like

Finished watching "Welcome to the N.H.K.". It was a worthwhile watch, decent enough humour and some thought provoking scenes/dialogues.
Now on to see One Punch Man.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I cannot recommend KILL la KILL enough! If you want a hillarious genre parody that's action packed to the brim, a rollercoaster of endless fun and battles, you just gotta see it. There's nothing quite like it and that's strange because it's copying loads of others for its parody. This one is recommended for a long binge. Be mindful of the heavy amounts of fan service, though. I like it, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Thankfully, no lolis.
