iippo: Well ill not post names of anything, but i can post you link to true Cthulhu-class madness. Dont say i didnt warn you...

http://www.amvhell.com/

Check out AmvHells "0" and "Divided by 0". Then wish you could reboot your brain.

The rest of the Amvhells are of regular animes and for more or less "normal people" -> for those who dont know, they are very short joke clips made of various animes by editing various people. Some are very funny, some not so.

Looks like Akira is getting a new HD release for its 25th anniversary release. But interestingly enough, it's going to include both the Streamline and Pioneer dubs. If it hasn't happened already I hope someone does the same thing with the Fist of the North Star animated film, I loved the Streamline dub. :)
Okay, I finished DTB, and I think season 2 is great, I think it's underrated personally, it's not nearly as good as season 1, but it's still great. Currently I'm watching Code Geass, it's amazing, I just watched the first 20 episodes in a day... surprised not many people, if any mentioned it. For those who don't know, it's like Death Note, but more... I don't know... it has to do with destroying a government rather than "cleansing the world". I also watched Eden of the East, it's great, to bad there is only 11 episodes, I have yet to watch the movie though. Anyways, after Code Geass I have Cowboy Bebop waiting for me, so that should be fun. I've also watched a few episodes of Bleach, and I find it quite entertaining, so I may be checking that one out. Anyways, thanks for the recommendations guys!
i recommend
Bleach
(good story and characters)
if your mind is ready to be f*cked up: neon genesis evangelion
Recommendation :

Cowboy Bebop (the only real good anime series ever)

Blood+ (kinda okay)

Hellsing (for the lolz)

Counter recommendation :

Shiki (because beh)

Gantz (because ergh)

Mazinger Z (because haha. used to be a fan when I was, like, 6 years old, but I rewatched an episode recently and oh god oh god)

Not sure if it qualifies :

Ulysses 31 is great. It will always be.

_____
Edit : Have to plus the Paranoia Agent suggestion because yes.

Watch Samurai Champloo aswell.

Blood+ is ok mostly because I like that the protaginist is female which I rarely see.

It surely begins strongly, but kind of loses its beat along the way. Animation is good, soundtrack is also quite good. Felt a bit... longer than it should be. Not every series lives through 50 (or so) episodes without losing the drive.

And this was horrifying when I first saw the series:

Yeah, Saya is a scary girl.
Still, the show is worth watching. Vampires, horror and tragedy.
Question : is the movie worth watching.

I mean, the live one, not the original animated movie (which had lead me to the -half related- series).
I sometimes watch anime but my main thing is Anime rpgs I like to play. I like Winter Wolves games because they make partybased anime rpgs where you control a party. Loren the Amazon Princess is awesome fantasy/rpg and Planet Stronghold is even more awesome-scifi/rpg. Hail Caesar!
So I just watched Neon Genesis Evangelion (including End of Evangelion) in one sitting, and I just have to say that I was not expecting it to get that dark. I went into it only knowing it was a mecha, and I rather like mechas, so I didn't know what to expect... especially the movie, that had to be one of the most (if not the most) disturbing, sad, and confusing movies I've ever seen. And it was amazing. That ending... wow...

Anyways, I'm still debating whether I like this better than FMA or Code Geass, but I want to know if there's anything like this, because In my opinion, this show is a masterpiece.

I read the Manga version and I find it even more better than the anime.
Just wanted to throw out <span class="bold">this</span> anime series that I liked..

The series tells the story of Ginji Amano and Ban Mido, a pair of superpowered individuals known as the "GetBackers". The duo operates a freelance repossession service out of one of the seedier areas of Shinjuku, Tokyo. For a fee, they will recover any lost or stolen item for a client with "an almost 100% success rate". The GetBackers' job often leads them into bizarre and dangerous situations in order to "get back what shouldn't be gone". Their targets range from lost video games to misplaced components of an atomic bomb. The plot mostly revolves around their adventures, often complicated by the pair's convoluted, individual pasts and a mysterious place known as the Infinity Fortress.
