JK41R4: I'm loving it so far!
avatar
VeTrack: She is so touched to hear you say that!

avatar
WBGhiro: The first season's BD had a rpg-maker game bundled with it.
avatar
VeTrack: Yeah, the first game wasn't a surprise to me since RPGMaker is Enterbrain's and Enterbrain is the subsidiary of Kadokawa Corp. But this second one, lol... I wonder if Capcom already knew about this. Not only is the jump exactly the same, but so is the sliding dash. And his sword attack can be charged up to fire off a bigger arc! ;D

UnrealQuakie: been watching KONO SUBARASHII SEKAI NI SHUKUFUKU WO! 2
avatar
VeTrack: I haven't seen it yet, but when that KonoSuba 2 Ep.1 was released, some people were complaining about its quality? What's that all about?
The animation quality is VERY wonky at best not as polished as the first season from what I can tell but everything else is pretty up on top

Hmm... So it's not just an issue with that first episode?

I saw more gameplay of that and it's really quite well done. If you've played Mega Man, you'll definitely enjoy yourself. They even copied the way you gain new powers by defeating the bosses, Kachou Fu-getsu from Aqua, Explosion from Megumin, etc...

JK41R4: BTW, what do you guys think of the upcoming Ghost In The Shell movie?
A new trailer is out, it'll be shown during Super Bowl but you can always watch it now. There are some new scenes along with those that were already shown before.
Started watchingt KUZU NO HONKAI, I hope it's good. so far the animation is good

Nope it's all the episodes, But when the Blu-ray/DVD release goes on they do an animation cleanup and fix the issues, Like what all the anime goes through after TV airing.

dragon ball super was famous for this...

Well, that trailer got me interested, even though I know those are never to be trusted. I wonder what the reviews will be like, although I'd probably still watch it if they were low.

Hey, I was wondering, is Ghost in The Shell Pro or Anti Transhumanism?

JK41R4: Hey, I was wondering, is Ghost in The Shell Pro or Anti Transhumanism?
Never really seemed like it had an agenda regarding that. It's a central theme of GitS, but it never felt like it was portrayed in an overly positive or negative light.

So it's neutral? I wouldn't mind that I guess. The standard "cybernetics will eat your soul, and your favorite kitty too!" thing kinda wears on me. Though I still wonder if the movie will move to the Anti-Transumanism path, seems like a thing hollywood would encourage.

How is Akiba's Trip so low? The game is like so quirky.
Oh my, what I've been reading from normal places is that Kemono Friends popularity is growing in Japan.
It's BD+GuideBook #1 preoder at Amazon.co.jp has sold out and it's (or was) number #1 best seller. X-D
It had that "What is this?"-start but people seem to like it a a alot after 4 episodes.

Don't worry about it, I was just wondering perhaps it was done on purpose to create/have a certain effect/style.

I do check few Japanese anime/manga & entertainment -news aggregator sites (2ch is not one of them because it's way too random X-) ) that are somewhat normal. ^_^;

Nah, I was just curious why you used that adjective and which places you were talking about... As for whether they're absolutely normal or somewhat normal or outright abnormal? I don't really care, lol... =)

Btw WBGhiro, do you know who voiced your English Bestia? Can you guess her age?

As for whoever else's reading this, tell me something: Do you watch your anime dubbed in your native language or do you prefer to hear the Japanese voices?

I prefer Japanese language with English subtitles or Finnish subtitles if the release is Nordic one which only has Finnish+Swedish+Norwegian+Danish subtitles. Finnish dubs are mostly used in Ghibli-releases (Japanese/Finnish switchable) and for kids morning shows like Pokemon and Digimon (Digimon doesn't seem to be airing anymore).

The first Finnish dubbed Digimon season around 2000ish is infamous for it's lousy dubbing made by Agapio Racing Team. More samples and [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1T_TLBZxY4U]youtube.
Agapio Racing Team is/was sort of reason why some people don't want Finnish dubbing even if dubbing work is much better nowdays. X-)

edit: We do have some old 80s anime-series dubbed in Finnish those were distributed in VHS under Omaxi-label and few others. Some people even collect these old VHS-tapes nowdays for nostalgia value because those tapes were first contact to anime for many. Some notable releases from that time are Galaxy Express 999, Starzinger, Sandybell etc..
