As the thread title says, this will be a forum mafia game with the general theme being "anime girls." No, I haven't decided the specifics. They could be anime girls in a classroom, or anime girls in a business meeting, or even anime girl Italian mafia and regular civilians, but at least you can deduce that "anime girls" is the shared element.

May include lots of roles. May be open or closed until I decide on the setup. Probably will include pacifistic deaths where nobody actually dies in the flavor but they will in the game. 100% gonna have daychats for all parties that can private chat. Did I mention it'll have 200% chance of including anime girls?

Newbies and seniors alike welcome. Sign ups open until we lose steam (heh) and signups slow to a crawl. If you have any ideas for the theme, you can share them in the thread.

Anime girls vs traps. But thinking of the lynch and NK flavor I'm not sure it would work well.

How does this work? I have to work until the afternoon, and I can't be bothered to look at GOG forums every waking hour.

But if we have to be an anime girl, I want to be tall and athletic, but also sort of chubby with large assets. Also blonde. And a tomboy where I'm vulgar and complain about society and wear men's clothes because they have pockets.

Shut up, this is my anime girl fantasy.

Oh, you definitely don't need to check every waking hour. The game is usually played over several weeks because we have quite a span of timezones, but it doesn't require much time per day.

Some places play short, intense games, but ours are pretty relaxed. Generally the rule is to post at least once every 48 hours (but more is better obviously).

Haru (from The Cat Returns) screams way too much, and I'm not familiar with any of the other anime girls that are either cats are start to turn into one.

Worst theme for me to attempt forumafiaying again (I'm globally allergic to anime girls), but whatev's. If Faye Valentine is still available, I can try with that. (Ed would have been an option too.)

Also, if you're looking for mafia-anime-compatible themes, a Death Note ticks all the boxes.

Misa Amane is not a kitty girl. You could try Felix Argyle instead, although they aren't a kitty girl either.

The names will be loosely used as your flavor character. Yes, you can play as Madoka Kaname, but you'll only have her name, so your in-game "Madoka Kaname" isn't the one you're thinking of.

Also the names must be Japanese. Last name not necessary but preferred for Japanese honorfics (-san, -chan, -senpai, etc). You can have a nickname if you want, no rules on that.

That will definitely not make the flavor harder yet more fun to write XD

A Death Note would include deaths (obviously) in my flavor. But eh, I could include a deathless version as the lynch mechanism, why not!

Also if it's any consolation, the anime girls theme only affects the flavor (and the "death" messages), everything else will be traditional mafia.
