I am venting here on how Cereal box promotions have gone to an all time low now. in the past you used to get comic books and Games and all sorts of stuff when promo's was going on now you get Trail's/DRM just read only comics now...

I got suckered into wanting to try out this 10 years later and got the honeycomb cause why not taste good. and box says

*The Spider-Man Digital Comic Book offer is being conducted by Post Foods Canada Inc. To receive a FREE Spider-Man digital comic book download, visit www.postconsumerbrands.ca/spiderman and enter the unique PIN found inside specially-marked boxes of POST Shreddies, POST Honeycomb, POST Honey Bunches of Oats Almond, POST Honey Bunches of Oats Honey Roasted cereals, available while supplies last.

and what do you know it's DRM read online only no download what so ever... it really sucks now how the days of getting cool stuff from your cereal is gone and it's turned into this crap. They don't even give a damn PDF or zip folder of the damn thing like really now, Maybe because it's marvel and they want nothing to do with actual free books or something? who knows.

what do you guys think of free crap from cereal now days? I sure as hell miss the old days with PC games in my box like roller coaster tycoon and tonka truck games and hotwheels games that came with my damn Cap'n Crunch >:(

I think that's an oddly specific rant.

Also, if you can see it on your screen, you can make a copy of it. If you really want those comics, you can get them in .pdf or whatever. If it's on your screen, you've got it.
To make matters worse, it's not even a "proper" Spider-Man comic, it seems to be a promo tied to the recent movie and all you get is a Spider-Man: Homecoming comic; which is to say, a lame version of Peter Parker who desperately wanted to be Miles Morales but didn't quite have the balls for it.
PC games? Too late for me. I remember action figures and toy submarines and stuff like that. I actually got a watch from a box of Golden Grahams once.

Cracker Jacks have also gone to hell. Used to get compasses and decoders. Now it's a fucking flower sticker or something. The other day I swear it was just a cartoon portrait of George Washington with some facts about his life in teeny tiny print on the other side. What fun is that?

And don't get me started on the Astrosnicks.

Dude I checked the whole thing from top to bottom and you can't do it at all. no pdf or zip option nothing, All it has is pan and fullscreen reading and need help options. Not even right click and save as works. just read and close site.

Screen capture, crop to size, and save in your own file. :)

What OneFiercePuppy meant is that if your browser, or whatever software, is displaying the data it means it has all the data. And you can get it and convert to pdf or whatever format you want. It just requires more technical knowledge. There is simply no way to allow you to display some data without letting you download it as well.

Technically, it's in the RAM or some temp HDD folder, the screen just displays it. But that aside, what you're saying sounds about right. There's probably some software out there that makes it easy to capture/convert those files. Of course the question is, whether it's worth the effort to begin with. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I use google chrome and I was looking through the developer tools option and looking at each tab and seem to find nothing as on some other sites I can find the files you guys are talking about, seems like it's really dug deep in there for some reason but not worth the effort at the end of the day. I am a massive spiderman comic collector and I love to have all comics of spiderman I can get my hands on.

UnrealQuakie: Not sure if anyone may have mentioned it already as I only read the first post, but if you're using Firefox, you can hit F12 to bring up the developer pane, go into the configuration settings and enable web page snapshot capability, then just click on the camera icon that shows up and it takes a snapshot of the entire web page you are viewing and saves it. It works great. If necessary or desired, the images can later be edited with GIMP or Photoshop to crop them as desired.

Chrome and other browsers likely have similar functionality either built in or as addons as well.
I use Paint.net to edit screen captures. I think it does a fine job. :)
Have you Screenshots from this Comics?

I have all comics from the mcu movies, and this is the only one i missing..
Yes Canadian breakfast giveaways are in a sorry state. Todays generation will never know the thrill of getting shitty cartoonish toy crossovers. But who are we really kidding? There was nowhere to go but downhill after 1996 .
