Just another Greek-Paysafecard thread. Searched for "paysafecard" before i made this, but didn't find something.

Here's the deal, i live in Greece and i thought i read that we could finally use Paysafecards again for GOG.
When i went to buy the DnD series, there was NO paysafecard option.

So what's going on? What can i do? How can i buy the DnD collection with a paysafecard?

I also can't see such an option on checkout. Either:

1) GOG has completely removed Paysafe as one of their payment options.
2) GOG has disabled Paysafe for Greece.

Maybe one of the European members can tell us if they still have a Paysafe option.

I am afraid it is blocked for Greese, because I have the option at checkout.
Ffffuucck. Don't tell me i just sent 25 euro down the drain... Is there anything i can do so i can get a 25 euro fund on my GOG wallet?

Anyway thanks for the answer Grargar and animalmother.

Thank you for the answer.
Paysafecard option showing up fine for Finnish account here..
I do remember that my local friend didn't have psc-option until he changed payment currency to euro.
So check currency if it is in euros, if that's ok then it might be gone for some reason.

I see some choices here:

1) Return the voucher back to the store (probably not a realistic option).
2) Contact GOG support on the off-chance that the Paysafe option has been accidentally disabled.
3) Offer to buy something from Steam on the trading thread (make sure to read the rules on the opening post, first).

Sounds like more of a Payunsafecard if it works that way. :)

Looks like the payment option for Paysafecard has been restored.

Probably a bug. The paysafecard option does shows up at checkout for me, but transactions are still blocked for Greece. Steam on the other hand accepts my paysafecards with zero issues.
Wasn't it the Greek government that originally blocked such transactions under some capital control law? The way I see it, there is probably some catch why certain online retailers won't or can't get on board, like a condition of being registered in Greece as a company for auditing purposes or something similar.
Thanks guys. I added that on Steam since Greece always fucks me up.

You mean like the time they banned all electronic games for a while until the law was mended to define it was supposed to mean "all electronic gambling games"?
I don't like playing prophet, but Grexit is still a possibility, economy there ISN'T getting back on its feet anytime soon (quite the contrary) and there are whispers in higher places that banks might soon close again (capital controls etc). Don't even ask about Greece (economic/monetary) credibility's state in foreign places...

Of course, there is always the Eurozone being demolished entirely thingie in the immediate future's horizon (the union, that is), but i dare not jinx it.

Maybe this is just a sign that Capitalism pushed to these extremes simply cannot be safely maintained, and that it's high time we all became socialistic, overthrowing the oppressive bourgeois?
