Elmofongo: Has anyone found the Ice Beam? I am 60% in and I found not found it and I scoured every nook and crany.

MrPopo: You've obviously found it, but the game has reshuffled some items compared to the original, with the ice beam coming last in the series of beams. Considering you get space jump so early the ability to freeze stuff for platforms isn't worthwhile so it's mostly a damage upgrade and necessary for the final area.
Did anyone find the secret boss?

After years of development, a project known as AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake) - a fan-made remake of Metroid 2: Return of Samus in a Game Boy Advance style (Fusion/Zero Mission) has been released.

Darvond: Rather DCMA things, if I were in Nintendo's shoes and heard of projects like this making a buzz, I wouldn't swat them down. I'd extend a hand, and offer them a position, because as a company, any talent would be a useful asset, especially when compared to Sakamoto, the man who killed Metroid as a franchise.

Or Miyamoto, who has killed Star Fox and Paper Mario due to his meddling.

hell capcom was more sensible in this instance
they approached the modder that did the resident evil 2 overhaul and asked him to stop because they were working on their own remaster

In other news, somebody has already found a way to go out of bounds and get power bombs early.

This allows one to skip one particularly interesting (and new, as far as I can tell) section of the game, assuming one isn't going to get 100%.

I wonder if it's the same OOB glitch that was in the last demo version?

Torrents aren't some scary monster to gobble up your children, I've downloaded at least 5 linux distros from torrents.

I didn't say what I meant to imply I didn't download it via torrent. I did. I was just alerting people that the only way to get it now was via torrent.
