Here's an idea: Let's post "alternative facts" about the games available from gog.com.

I'll start:

In Morrowind, blindness effects make your attacks more likely to miss. (Note: The Morrowind Code Patch, by default, turns this alternative fact into a real one.)

Daggerfall is a well-made game, in which there is no known method of going out-of-bounds in a dungeon.

In Baldur's Gate, Clerics are the king of offensive magic, while Mages are only good for healing.

The Way and some other games have steam api.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The Long Dark has no steam works intergration on the steam version. you can run it DRM Free.
No Man's Sky is the critically acclaimed action-adventure space-combat simulator from Activision, that is the spiritual successor to FreeSpace 2.

This is a game I'm very interested in and intended to snatch up as soon as the campaign is released. Assuming I understand this nebulous concept called "irony" (yes, I know the "real" definition ;) ) mind giving a few further details in thread?

If I'm going to temper my enthusiasm for a borked DRM free release I'm really looking forward too, I'd rather do it now.

as far as I know the GOG release is fine, I already owned it on steam at the time of its GOG release and thus havent purchased it here, but I discovered this randomly with my steam version.

*phew* Awesome good to know - thanks for the quick response. This is one I've really been looking forward to. I would have picked it up already, but I know my willpower is weak and it's one where I really want to play the campaign / story mode... but I know if I bought it now I'd burn out on sandbox ;) Glad to hear I can most likely not worry once it's release / it was only a Steam issue.

Its not an issue, the fact it can be run without steam is intentional as the game is going to be DRM free on humble on release, and probably just easier to keep the gog version updated without maintaining 100000 builds
In 1992 Marcin Iwiński developed a nuclear simulator called Half Life Cubed (Written HL3).
A couple more:

In Dungeon Hack, it is a good idea to have a Remove Paralysis spell handy in case you get paralyzed.

In Morrowind, it is recommended to make a Cure Paralyze on self spell, just in case you get paralyzed.

(Real (non-alternate) fact: It turns out that neither of these two games will let you cast a spell while paralyzed, making these spells, in fact, useless.)

Fairfox: Teh Jack Keane gamies make up a stunnin' series taht sell by teh truckload on a frequent basis, especially durin' sales.

Armello DRM-Free Edition is teh definition version of teh gamie.

GOGie frequently 'n' quickly implement useful community suggestions.
I do not understand why your post is downrated. I can only assume that someone didn't get the joke.

Hang on... so your alternative fact was just a fact? Something tells me you didn't get the point of the thread.
(Pro-tip: the concept of lying was recently 'rebranded' as alternative facts)

Another one:

TES: Arena is a well-made game. See the attached screenshots for proof.

Planescape Torment has hardly any dialogue and is focused on its truly excellent and challenging combat system.
