Hello all,

So I got the Earth element after dropping the exploding barrels. But I can't leave the area.

After searching the internet a bit, I know I can't get the spiked bars lowered just yet.

But I can't seem to get back up to the ledge to leave the area. I've used the Earth spell to raise myself to get to the entrance ledge, but the earth pillar stops short. I've tried every combination I could think of, but it doesn't reach the ledge.

I even tried to use the mud wall under me, hoping it would catapault me up after the earth pillar reached its highest point lol. Guess I can't outsmart the game hehe.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious or the pillar is bugged for me. I hope not since I'd have to start all over because of the single save.

Any help would be appreciated!

The spikes can only be removed from the other side so don't bother with them. To make an earth pillar higher you need a big flask which you probably haven't found yet. For the game to continue you will have to leave the cave to the other side (back where you entered it) and you have to enter the first car of the big train that is in front of the cave. To do this you'll need to use sand with the hourglass which is also in front of the cave but reachable with the small train you used to enter the cave (halfway if I remember correctly). The sand in the hourglass will lower the train making it possible for you to enter the front car.

Is it the 2nd flask, the square one? If it's that, then I have it. If it's the 3rd flask (the large round one), then I don't have it yet.

So there is another way out without going up the pillar? (In the event I don't have the right flask)

And thank you for the help, I really didn't want to start over lol.

I am not sure but at least the flask is responsible to make those pillars higher. In any case you need to exit the cabe from where you came, If you should need an earth pillar for that and that one should be too small using the biggest flask you have should help. You probably won't have to start over. The only big bug I experienced when I played teh game was near the end and it fixed itself with a reload.

Thank you again for everything MarkoH01, that was indeed the solution with the flask. Guess I just needed to play around with the combinations a bit more.

I'm now much further into the game and also gained the round flask as well. I'm enjoying the game so far and give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars for sure. -1 star cause I think they could have improved on tooltips, clues for combinations and some improvements on the controller scheme. It's a vibrant world, but for some reason, it also feels a bit desolate, if that makes any sense.

I'm going to take a break from the game though, seems I get tired easily playing it for some reason. Also, doesn't help that I'm older and both hands are getting stiffer lol. I'll certainly get back to it once I take a short break from it. Your help was invaluable though. :)

No problem. Just let me know if you should experience another puzzle you are unable to solve. I played this game so long that chances do exist that I still remember the solution :)
