I've read about it yesterday. Might be not that bad if you can read between the lines.

I mean, it's an adult game that's chasing an adult audience that isn't bothered by graphic content, so I'm not sure what some mild forms of censorship are going to achieve, especially after reading of the list of content that's still in it. In for a penny, in for a pound, imo, but I'm not all that invested in it and will wait for reviews before I decide on a purchase or not.

As it got censored and there's apparently no restoration patch, I'm going to pass on the title. I really, really wanted that game, but I cannot stand censorship. It's not their original vision anymore when stuff get "toned down" or cut.

Such a shame.

It's not the developer's original idea because they cut content? Perhaps they just weren't in line with what they were putting out. Not all cut content or "toned-down" content is due to external influences.

However, in this case it does seem that the developers just want to be allowed to sell their game in certain places and that the content would not allow that. I mean, let's be real, pushing the bounds of human decency for the sake of it is not exactly some incredible artistic expression.

hmm... the game does not get that good reviews on Steam... I see thins like "clunky", slow (even slow walking simulator) "old UI", blurry and too dark, and many bugs. not sure if any censorship is this games worst problem.

I knew it, this is clearly a consequence of Steam censorship of VNs. Probably they want to risk less.

Too bad, but won't bother me much if it's just some cutscene at the end of the game.

Really hope the devs will manage to get this stuff in VR! :-)

It was their own fault for going to the ESRB in order to publish on console.
