MS is sponsoring a publicity tournament for it! Details in the video. Been thousands of years before they sponsored an AoE2 tournament. Hopefully the patch coming with the expansion can manage to not break everything.

That's true, but I don't think Microsoft likes DRM-Free platforms.

Devs have been silent about it. MS probably wants as little things outside their own store.
