Hello all!

I'm currently working on a game that I'd like to get published on GOG or via Greenlight at some point. That being said, I've worked on it fully in java as of right now, so the graphics are SHIT (like with all java games) and even then, my latest release is an "ALPHA" version; nowhere near complete. I've got development ongoing ATM and I hope to finish off the big 1100 update this fall. I'd also like it to be Greenlit or accepted on GOG this fall, but I know GOG won't like it and that I might not get enough support on Greenlight, so, yea...

If y'all could take a look and tell me what you think, and what to add on later, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks!
How can we look at it without a link?

And what's the meaning of the title? Pee incoming?

Good point check out bit.ly/2g50KnO it's my "official" site

I really gotta change the title... its supposed to be a kinda adventuring spinoff style name, but it isn't working.
Is there anywhere we can see the game?

Unless my firefox is missing something, I see no screen shots or videos of gameplay or what the game is about.

What is this game all about?

Ah crap, I've been really bad about that... Screenshots will be posted tomorrow, despite their shittyness

I primarily want it to be an action adventure rpg mix, but not be too much of any of the three at once. It'll be better defined once I get Amazon Lumberyard working and have better screenshots.

Good deal.

Is is a little bit like Cube World, in terms of philosophy (not the voxel graphics style)?

Advent urine = Pre-Christmas pee =P
(And I never would have noticed that if you hadn't said anything. :) )
>MMO
Yeeeeaaaah....dunno if GOG is gonna go for that one.
Edit - Scrub this, Zeogold covered it.

Relatively, yes. Although from what I've seen of Cube World, it's turn based (it's been a while, so maybe not). It'll be a more along the pace of bloodborne, just, not as bloody.

Oh, fuck it. It's no longer called Adventurine. I'll get a better name later today.

I'll get screenshots up a little later, there are a few that need to be uploaded

MMO? Thats FAR future. Don't expect that ANYTIME soon. As for MTs, why the hell do I need them? I mean, yea MTs are crucial to SOME games, but not all of them. I don't feel the need for MTs. That entire topic was when it was really small, so, forget I left it up.

Damn shame I haven't hooked you yet XD

And thanks man, I plan on a move to Lumberyard after EOY project in comp sci.

Well, the problem is, you're playing against a bit of a stacked deck here. The GOG community, quite naturally, has a heavy anti-DRM stance (I mean, it fits given that it's a store based on DRM-free games, don't it?). It follows from that in ways I can't quite explain that a good chunk of us are also against multiplayer, and, consequently, MMOs. Not to mention that, no offense, but there's so many bad, grindy, soul-sucking, microtransaction-filled MMOs out there that the very word "MMO" causes an instinctive cringe.
That's not to say you have a bad idea, mind you (to be honest, I'm not quite sure WHAT you've got since I can't gleam much from your webpage...). What it seems like you DO have is an idea that this community is going to raise its hackles and hiss violently at.
My advice is that you feed us some more info on the thing along with some screenshots, and if it's still headed in the "multiplayer hack-and-slash" direction, then you might want to poke around Steam's community instead or maybe try the mobile market depending on what you've got.

When I really get to thinking about it, MMO isn't what I have in mind. I'm thinking more small-size Terraria styled something, where you can get a friend or two on and off exploring. I DO NOT want to make this a hack-and-slash. The term just sounds crude. I want something open world, yet not solely hack-n-slash or FPS. I want puzzles, hyper in depth character development, a vast universe with a hidden story that's as haunting as it is intriguing, and ultimately: be community based. I can understand the hackles-raised response to the current hurgablah that is my game, that's why I bring it to y'all so that it can turn into something y'all would want to play. Make an MMO? Only if y'all really want it(heh, as if). MTs? not on the life of me or anyone on this forum will I include MTs.

I want a blend of what the community wants, and if you want puzzles, puzzles you will get.

Other notes: I'll be changing my site here in a few minutes, just, please excuse the really shitty Java graphics.
