Help shape a fascinating tale of danger, intrigue, and stubborn bubbles.

Previously on Adventure on Mystery Island
After an unfortunate plane crash and a rather fortunate encounter with the enigmatic Monolith of Multitude, you end up with sand in your shoes, a precious code for Rebel Galaxy in your pocket, and a healthy dose of curiosity in your gut.
The path towards the second Monolith goes through the foreboding Sidequest Castle, which turns out to be the home of a slightly unhinged but rather jolly dragon who loooooves role-playing. You unwittingly become her knight is shining prose and after your reluctant participation in a humiliating play, you escape towards the Bridge of DOOM. Naturally, your attempt to pole-vault over it goes awfully wrong but thanks to the miraculous intervention of a giant bird, you somehow end up on the other side of the bridge, right outside the Brainstorm Basin. Here, you are tasked with solving a devious riddle involving unburstable bubbles, which you do with surprising aplomb. Certain that nothing can interrupt your quest anymore, you enter a giant monkey head and find yourself inside The Cave of Countless Chats. It's a maze and in order to get out, you agree to help a Harmless Old Lady find her granddaughter's dollie.

Catch up on <span class="bold">Chapter 1</span>, <span class="bold">Chapter 2</span>, <span class="bold">Chapter 3</span>, <span class="bold">Chapter 4</span>, and <span class="bold">Chapter 5</span> of the story.

CHAPTER 6: The Second Monolith

Domestic disputes? Ain't nobody got time for that. You gladly accept the Harmless Old Lady's quest.
It takes a while, but you finally locate the wretched ragdoll. But the moment you return it to the frail woman, she drops her lazy disguise and reveals herself to be a creepy voodoo priestess. Sacré bleu! After ten full minutes of loudly cackling at your expense, she agrees to keep her promise. With a terrible toothless grin, she pierces the ragdoll and you body writhes in pain, as if hit by 10.000 volts. At once! Your molecular structure starts feeling less and less confident in itself and with a brief blast of light, you...dissolve.

But only momentarily.

You open your eyes to find that you've re-materialized about 50 feet away from the witch, as her distant cackling indicates. You're taking a moment to collect yourself when the piercing sensation begins anew. Another painful zap, another 50 feet travel.
About 46 zaps later, you catch the first glimpse of daylight - the exit must be near. Just. One. More... Zap!

And here it is, standing majestically on the sand: the fabled Second Monolith! Without missing a beat you approach it and observe its cunning inscription. Hmm.. After two hours of intense pondering, you decide to hit the tile inscribed "Key". Yes, it worked! You're a genius! As before, the tile slides back to reveal a free code - it's for Fantasy General. Awesome, you were always meaning to play that one.
As you take it out, however, a thunderous roar fills the island and you see a swirling purple portal open up on a small batch of land off the coast. You are drawn towards it, oblivious to the Monolith's backside inscription: "Don't Go There".
Now in order to reach the portal, you must cross this daunting pool of water. You could either BUILD A RAFT or TRY TO SWIM ACROSS.

Voodoo, HAH! I knew it :)

Now, I believe we should swimm across. Why, after all we've been through - ropleplayer dragon, snake bridge, bubbles, and voodoo granny - what's the worse that could happen? :)
Also, who has time for such a boring task as raft building - adventure awaits!

And then we shall cross the Warp Gate - straight to the Eye of Terror :)

Unless that's some sort of pun, I think you meant "genius". Or maybe it's just my omniscience that thinks you meant that…

I will be very sad in this case, as I have needlessly packed my chainsword and bolter

mecharma: Build a raft
This looks suspicious - some insider, gog?
Should we indeed build a raft? Think here be sharks? Buttsharks even?

Build a raft :)
Always build a raft.
It's summer here. I'll swim to the purple galaxy.

You could just wait, (the) galaxy will come sooner or later to you.
Build a raft!
Raft all the way...then swimming is your backup plan, not your only plan.
"

GOG, you have a heart for minorities. Or why are you using the Imperial System?
There are only 3 countries that do not use the Metric System.
