It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

adaliabooks: Not sure about the sorting bug thing, that really shouldn't happen at all with the way the manual sorting works.
When you get that are the games manually sorted or whatever gog sort you have set?
When I get that bug, they are sorted in the gog sort. It is really strange since refreshing the page brings the correct order back. But every once in a while after a refresh it happens again.
And I tried the manual sorting once again with showing all games and showing just a 100, but yeah, it is not working without me refreshing the page every time (I tried it with the legacy shelf and the gog default one).

adaliabooks: Update is here.

We have manual sort! :)

[...]

Let me know what you think :)
What I think? This! ;-D

I checked it out last night, using my Sware Iron browser, manually rearranged about 50 games. Most of the time, the new sorting required a refresh to show, a few times it worked immediately. But...

Today I opened my Library in Firefox, and... none of the changes I made show. :(
But I can still see them in Sware Iron. Is there a way to "transfer" the new order to Firefox? I'd hate to have to redo all that from scratch.

On a side note - the legacy box covers still don't show in Sware Iron. Any idea why that might be?

Have a lovely day!

Thanks moon. It shouldn't be to do with how many games there are showing then.

Glad you like it, unfortunately the script saves things personally to itself / the browser. I'll be implementing an import / export feature (for backing up and transferring / sharing sort orders) as a priority, but in the mean time it might be possible to copy and move settings from a userscript in one browser to another.. I'm not sure where they are saved, but I'll look into.

You too :)

Merry Christmas everyone! :)

Edit: Not sure about the covers... have you got the website blocked somehow?

I once asked ssokolow where the settings for his script are saved and he answered: "Greasemonkey scripts are stored in a "gm_scripts" folder inside your Firefox profile and, on first use of GM_setValue, an SQLite3 database of the same name is created in that folder." Might be the same for you.

Question: Are the missing covers I reported before (http://www.gog.com/forum/general/adalia_fundamentals_fixing_gog_so_you_dont_have_to/post413) supposed to be present or not? For me, they're still missing.

It should be I imagine (if you're using Greasemonkey anyway. I use gm_setValue so the database should theoretically contain the data, not sure if it would be transferable to a different add on like TamperMonkey though)

No, not yet. I'm still working on the server side stuff to get it to work properly. Got distracted by manual sort... XD

I've tweaked the server stuff, it should have added some new art and should (hopefully) auto update properly from now on.
I'll still have to manage the bundled games manually but I'll see how they build up and then decide how to sort them out.

Thanks. Checked. Seems to work to a limited degree. The remaining missing covers for me are the following ones (highlighting the one that are not unbundled):
- Krynn (x 3 boxes)
- Dark Sun (x2 boxes)
- Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition
- King Arthur Collection (x2 boxes)
- Moment of Silence
- Never Alone
- Pathologic Classic HD
- Ravenloft (x2 boxes)
- Recettear
- Runestone Keeper
- Shantae
- UnderRail
- Warhammer 40K: Rites of War
- Wasteland 2: Director's Cut

No, I only have BE and AF installed in SWare Iron.

I know where and how Greasemonky scripts store their settings and data, but I couldn't find the equivalent in SWare Iron/TamperMonkey, hence why I asked if adaliabooks (or anyone else) knows of a way.

Briefly tried things out in Firefox, I've noticed the following:
-- If a game moved doesn't show as such, then I can move more games, and they all show on their new positions after a page refresh.
-- If a game moved shows as such, then I can't move more games before a page refresh. This does not happen in SWare Iron.

On the good news side, scrolling works, at least in SWare Iron (haven't tested things much in Firefox).

A cursory search suggests it may not be possible, it looks like TamperMonkey saves all it's data to one database rather than to individual ones, so you'd have to do it manually to transfer the data in...

Not sure about the images then.. SWare is Chrome based so there really should be no issues (the script rarely has problems in Chrome, not the published versions anyway), I don't suppose you're getting any kind of errors or anything?

If not, can you go to the account page and load up the console (assuming it's the same as Chrome) and go to the Network tab and make sure XHR is selected. You probably need to refresh the page. Does the AJAX request go to my site to retrieve the urls?

Yeah, that's the behaviour I've observed. Not sure yet why the load doesn't happen immediately (it does most of the time for me on Chrome, but hardly ever on Firefox), but if it then does swap that breaks the drag and drop because the DOM elements are destroyed and recreated and all the handlers are removed (and the function that's supposed to replace them is called during the delay)

Hmm, couldn't get it to scroll while dragging for me, but if it does for others that's good :)

Definitely working then.
The last two have been added to the list, the others will have to wait as they are bundle ones and I haven't sorted them out yet. I did that last run manually just to check, but from now on it runs 4 times a day and will update any games reported during that time.
But while we're on the subject, is there any easy way to get the catalogue id from bundled games? Perhaps from MaGoG?
Or do I just have to do it manually?

I do it manually, usually by nagging someone who bought the game to tell me what the sub-game IDs are, occasionally by buying the game myself. If you need info about some games, now or in the future, just ask me here.

There's also: http://www.gogwiki.com/wiki/Special:GogExtensionData
which is Barefoot's collection of game and sub-game IDs in a pile. The information is updated automatically whenever someone uploads their library/wishlist to the wiki, which seems to happen less and less often nowadays.

But can I retrieve that info from MaGog? If I search for the id of a bundled game could it give me the catalogue game?
If not I'll probably just do it manually (or through Barefoot's collection)

At the moment, no. I'll look into displaying it somewhere.
