mrkgnao: Report:

Tried "All" with my library (1219), using "Legacy Wood". Seems to work fine. Good show!

However...

The order of the games, which should have been by title, is incorrect in this case. Within a 100-game "sub-page" the order is correct, but the order of "sub-pages" is incorrect. It is something like: page 1, page 7, page 5, page 2, etc.. Resulting in an order that look A,B, L, M, G, etc.

I have seen something very similar before, when Barefoot updated his wiki library BE code. I reported it . You might want to ask Barefoot. Or you could ask this guy called adaliabooks, who seemed to know something about it [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/barefoot_essentials_2_gogcom_enhancement/post710]here.
Great :)

Yeah, as I mentioned above I messed up the sort order and it's just showing them in the order the ajax returns them rather than the correct page order. But I've fixed the syntax and it should work. I was just waiting to hear from you or foxworks to confirm it was working on larger libraries before I pushed another update which may end up breaking something ;)

HypersomniacLive: Don't mean to be pushy, but I hope you haven't forgotten about adding a "New" tag. :-)
No, just haven't got around to doing it yet. It should be fairly straight forward so I'll have a look now.

adaliabooks: As you both have a large library, would either of you try the latest update and see if it works and loads without too much slowdown?

Thanks :)
Much faster now with the new update! Great work! :D

Excellent :)

Well, that's the show all sorted. Just a few last adjustments and fixes and the next step is manual sort.

Any preferences for how to implement it? Drag and drop as the old version did is probably the most user friendly, but I think it would be the hardest to implement from my side.
Right now I'm thinking an option under the drop down menu that allows you to assign a number to a game via pop up and the games are sorted by those numbers. I would allow decimals so if you had two games marked 1 and 2 and wanted to put one in between you could do 1.1 and if you wanted to add another you could do 1.2 and so on. There would also probably be an option (or it would automatically do it) to normalise the numbers once you finished sorting (so in the previous example the games would be renumbered as 1, 2, 3, 4 instead of 1, 1.1, 1.2, 2.
Any games not numbered or numbered the same would be sorted alphabetically.

How does that sound?

Right, small update.

Should fix the sorting order, add a new tag for the alternative shelves and also allow reporting (hopefully without breaking anything this time!)

Fingers crossed :)

Hmmm... unless I'm misunderstanding something, I can't see me sorting my games successfully without remembering/keeping notes on what position I've placed what game.
This would work well after the initial sorting when adding new games or making minor changes.

Of course if this is the only way, I'll happily take it, but I was wondering if there's a way to (also?) have drag & drop, or have the titles of the games listed in that pop-up window to help with piking the correct relative position.

Sorting ok.
New tag ok (I got Bio Menace to test this).
Missing covers as before (+ Bio Menace).

Good work!

Yep, seems to work fine :-)
Thanks.

Bug Report:

Wishlist stopped working. It displays for a moment, then disappears.
If AF is disabled, it works fine.

P.S. Other people's wishlists not affected by the bug.

The "New" tag is now visible on game covers (see first two games in attachment). Did the latest update do this? If it did, thank you! but I'm begging you to change it to something more distinct, that white font on the light grey background looks more like a smudge than a tag, plus looks totally out of place on those pretty legacy box covers.

Yeah, that's the down side. You would be able to see the updated positions of games once you'd shifted them (and probably applied the changes or something) but it's not 100% convenient as a sorting method.

I could possible have a list that you could move up and down (like with arrows on each entry) in the pop up menu if that might be easier to use..

Ah, thanks mrkgnao I must need to stop it from affecting the Wishlist like I do with the styles.

Yeah, that was the latest update.

I meant to ask you for your artistic eye on styling it :)

I would not mind them being red with white font. Like the notifications I get thanks to BE :D

That would be quite helpful for the initial sorting. You know what I find pretty handy? The way Excel handles moving a sheet to a new position relative to other sheets.
No idea how difficult something like that would be, if at all possible.

Since you not only fixed things this promptly, but also added this, I forgive you. :-)

The dialog box you mean? Where you can choose which sheet to put it before or after? (and whether to rename it, move it or copy it, though they are not relevant in this instance)

It's probably doable... not really done much with dialogs and stuff in HTML but it's presumably possible...

I'll look into drag and drop and see just how difficult or easy that might be.

Yes, that one, it gives you a nice overview of the existing sheets, so you can decide where exactly to move a specific one.

Thanks for looking into other options to handle manual sorting. But I want to reiterate that you should go with whatever doesn't require (too) much effort. If GOG doesn't mess with our libraries, we won't have to do the whole lot more than once.

Actually draggable doesn't seem as complicated as I thought, it's implemented in HTML5, so it may not be entirely out of the picture.

I just need to think of the best way to arrange and organise the list and update it when things are moved.

But I'd probably implement a dialog or pop up box as well.

I'm working on it.
