mrkgnao: Tested a bit.
500 seems to work fine; 1000 crashes to desktop or results in a black screen or stops loading images at some point.

HypersomniacLive: Is this regardless of shelf style and/or view type?
Just tried "list" and "grid legacy wood".
List sometimes managed to do 1000, sometimes not.
Grid legacy wood always crashed in some manner.

I'm having an issue too, similar to what is already reported. I have a little under 1000 games, so I set the number of games per page to be 500. I use the black legacy shelf, and when I click the next page the shelf header and footer stay black, but the shelf changes to wood. When I click back to the first page of my shelf, it turns to wood as well with black shelf headers and footers. If I change the style to wood then back to black, everything goes right, but when I try to change the page again, the same issue reoccurs.

Since you're getting so good at this, any chance sometime down the line of getting 10 games per row instead of five? Same dimensions as current, but on high resolution screens I have a lot of wasted horizontal space with plenty of room for 10 or more per row and with so many games that's a lot of vertical scrolling as it is currently.

adaliabooks: Might be the same issues as Hyper reported earlier, I'll have to look into them properly and sort them, it's most likely due to not updating all the CSS and stuff when changing styles / pages etc.

[...]
I've changed my settings to have two pages, and the behaviour is the same, so quite likely it's the same issue. Refreshing the page seems to fix it, but also takes you back to page #1.

Question - when you said:
The only bug I kind of know exists is if you change your sorting settings too quickly it can break it, but a refresh will sort it out.
what does that "break" cover? I've noticed that when I set it to two pages (300/pg), and switch to the second page, not all of my games are displayed - it averages to about 20 rows, and cuts off the older ones (sorting set to "by purchase date").

I'll look into it, thanks for the feedback.

I'll look into that too, it should be possible.

Well, changing the sorting too quickly led to errors, and I think a failure to load new games.
When you change to the second page does it show the correct games? Or does it show the second page as it would be without my extra games per page.
It's tough to test things like that as I've only got a few games so I can only get two pages when I set to 100 so there could be problems when there are more games per page...

I'm not sure I understand your question, the the latter part of it in particular. The few tests I run, it seemed to randomly change the order of the games on the second page, so I'm not sure if the cutting point is always the same.

How quickly is "too quickly"? Because I got this borked result even the first time I changed my setting today (form "All" where I had left it last night to 300/pg).

And with your wishlist it's hard for me to help you out there. ;-)

That's what I was looking for. If the order of games on the second page are random then it's probably not just reverting to the default GoG pages.

Changing that setting shouldn't be a problem (at least it wasn't when I was testing it), it was just the sort order (Title, Date Purchased etc.) that sometimes caused errors. And basically if you changed it again before the loading had stopped.

What can I say, I have expensive tastes ;)
Doesn't stop you guys from trying to empty it though :P

I'm not 100% certain that the order is random, I'd have to take a closer look at it, but I've had enough of testing, troubleshootin, and fiddling with Firefox for today, will try and do it within hte next few days, and get back to you.

Basically there are two ways I can see this happening:
One is that my script is failing to load all the games correctly (for whatever reason) which would result in missing games or games appearing in the wrong order

And two is that the default settings are overriding mine (so the swap is failing, or GoG's default script is running after mine and overriding it) in which case when on page two you would see games from 101 - 200 instead of 301 - 600 (if 300 games per page was chosen for example)

Knowing which it is means I know where I need to look.
But don't worry, it'll be a few days before I get a chance to look at it anyway so there's no rush. I really appreciate the effort you guys all put into testing stuff :)

If I were not a man, and thus biologically incapable, I would have your babies for this.
Hello, for some reason Pathologic HD doesn't show any cover for me, is anyone else experiencing this same problem?

Yes. In legacy grid mode. I assume adalia doesn't have its cover.

Yeah, as mrkgnao says, I haven't found a satisfactory way to auto update and maintain the covers list yet so some covers will be missing...
