Nobody here who could provide legacy boxart pics for Bloodrayne 1 +2 Terminal Cut?
Okay, those white boxes really are annoying me so I will use the legacy boxart for the originals and use them for the terminal cuts as well - better than nothing. Of course this is a workaround only so if somebody could provide real Terminal Cut legacy boxart I still would appreciate ist. :)

I've not been on for a while, so just saw the request for these; I'll do and upload them.

Looks like they added boxart to the API at some point, so I just linked those manually... but maybe the custom ones will be better. :-P

I was even unable to access the API for the two terminal cuts

api.gog.com/v2/games/1207658808
api.gog.com/v2/games/1207658809

So how did you manage to access the boxartlinks?

Boxart is looking fine so thanks to everybody who wanted to help and everybody who was involved in finally fixing this :)

Ah, sorry when I posted the above message I accidentally used the wrong number for part 1 (note to myself: stop listening to music while posting important things ;)). However I am sure that I used the correct numbers before ... anyway - yes, now they are working for me as well.

Of course they're better. Even though they're identical. ;-P

Should be fixed. Could you please test?

I had troubles fixing this but Yepoleb (the creator of GOG DB) figured out a way how to get the boxartpics directly from where Galaxy 2 is getting it! Since they are never missing there this method should work everytime. Here's what I had done:

1) You still need the ID
2) use this URL: https://gamesdb.gog.com/platforms/gog/external_releases/1923443149 (with 1923443149 being the ID)
3) Search for a URL for the item "cover". In my case it looks like this:
https://images.gog.com/ce67edd0e071a748f0225631a55a40341143a11cff98024a0a4ff9be5139a897{formatter}.{ext}?namespace=gamesdb
4) delete {formatter] and replace {ext} with png and you get the following URL
https://images.gog.com/ce67edd0e071a748f0225631a55a40341143a11cff98024a0a4ff9be5139a897.png?namespace=gamesdb

And there is your pic that you just need to upload :)

Hey, thanks for figuring this out. It should always have the box art so hopefully it will remove the need for manual uploads at all.

I've implemented it on the server script (no need to update the user script) and hopefully it should be working, unfortunately there's not really any way to tell until some new games get released and bought by people using the script.

I'll try and remember to check back here for the next few days so I can change it back or fix it if anything's gone wrong.

It works now. Thanks.
A few others went missing today: All three classic Fallout, Freespace 2 and MDK.

Great to hear this :)

I'll take a look at those. Hopefully they did not get lost because of the new implementation mentioned above. Anyway, since I own MDK myself it's easy for me to test this first. Stay tuned.

Edit: Something went wrong - apparently the MDK ID is now "6" and it is hard to maagine that this in fact is the correct library id.

Random covers appearing missing has happened before to me during heavy server(s) load, usually during sales, hence it might be because of a failure on GOG's side (server) to load them, and not because the covers are actually missing.

However, in MarkoH01 we trust to shed some light on what's actually going on.
