groundhog42: Firstly, a massive thank you to adaliabooks for all the work you have put into providing these great features.

I have just installed Fundamentals in Pale Moon and Opera, and everything is working fine except that altering the shelf style in the library page tab has no effect whatsoever on my library. I have a feeling I may be missing something really obvious, so apologies if that is the case, but can anyone offer any ideas?

Current set-up:
Pale Moon (25.7.3) : Adalia Fundamentals + Barefoot Essentials + Greasemonkey
Opera (12.16 - I know it's old but I'm addicted to its bookmarks system!) : Adalia Fundamentals + Barefoot Essentials + Violent Monkey
Are you getting any errors in the console?
If not, you can edit the script and on line 28 change debuggingActive to true and run the script again and copy the console output.

I've tested it with the latest version of Opera (32) and it works, but that's just a reskin of Chrome from what I can tell... older Opera may be different.

Treasure: Edit 2- After some further testing though, I noticed that the black style stops applying after the 1st page of games -that is, my 2nd up to the last page showed up with the regular wood style, and also when returning to the 1st page from the other pages, the 1st page remains with the wooden style until refreshing the page, when the black style is reapplied for the 1st page (and the same with the library search results, even though they occupy only 1 page they show up as the wooden style instead). Could you look into that, if that isn't too much trouble for you?

Ah. Forgot changing pages would refresh the products and remove the class I added. Might need to do something slightly more complicated then.
No worries, I'll push another update in a bit that should sort it.

New update here, black shelf should now work correctly with pagination :)

I'm posting here to let you know a few more boxes are missing - Chantelise, Recettear and Shantae. All of them have box versions, the 1st 2 are included in gogmixes but the 3rd isn't, in case that matters. Also attached an image to show this better. Anyways, hopefully, you'll be able to find these images too. Thanks in advance! :-)

Thanks Treasure. Any new games won't have boxes at the moment because the list is static.

Unfortunately my attempts at creating a self updating list hosted on my own hosting have been scuppered as the account page is https and my website is not, so it won't complete the AJAX...
I've tried to find a work around, but I'm not really in a position to buy an SSL certificate just for this.. and I can't find any free hosting with SSL that allows PHP (and works) so unless someone has hosting that allows https were I can upload my code I may need to rethink things...

Believe you can get some personal SSL certs for free. Not sure why you need different hosting. I don't know if it's still on schedule, but the EFF, among others, Let’s Encrypt should be available soon.
Personally I would much prefer an option to have the artwork locally.

What information do you need exactly? Perhaps MaGog could collect it for you.

I did have a look, but I couldn't see any that looked to be actually free (as in not just free for a month or 3) other then Let's Encrypt which isn't running quite yet (though it says it should be quite soon, so it may become an option)

As for storing the artwork locally... I'm not really sure that's an option. It would mean everyone downloading 1000+ box art images, plus I'd still need to find a way to link those images to the ids of the games.
I can store the id list locally, which is probably the next best idea, and just have the script update it with any missing games as it finds them, but that's harder to police with the odd cases (Iike bundled games) where there isn't a straight forward way to connect the id to the url...

Thanks, unfortunately it's not so much getting the information from GoG that's the problem, it's passing it back to the script so it can look up the right url for each game.
Unless you happen to have a SSL cert and can use https then I wouldn't be able to make the AJAX request from MaGog either.

I'll look into the free SSL's again and see if there's anything that would work. And maybe just implement a local storage in the mean time (which could at least catch and update newly added games, if not bundled ones).

I am thinking I like the idea of local storage of game artwork if the location is not in the browser cache, since I will occasionally purge that.

Will users be downloading all artwork/gameboxes all at once, or downloading relevant artwork/gameboxes when a user's game library page loads?

When the artwork downloads, will it be a cutdown version to fit on the game shelf, or the bigger version images?

Any chance you could add a background image to the top of the shelf where it says "MY COLLECTION (**, ** UPDATED) v" so that it looks like it used to:

If adalia manages to do that, he should definitely add "classic furniture restoration" to his CV.

Honestly, though, if he can find the image that was used, it doesn't seem like it would be too hard as that header is defined in the style sheet. The bottom of the shelf is too, where you select the style.
