Yeah, i looked at it.
Only thing i get is:
"Unerwarteter Wert beim Parsen des Attributs x1. www.gog.com
Unerwarteter Wert beim Parsen des Attributs y1. www.gog.com
Unerwarteter Wert beim Parsen des Attributs x2. www.gog.com

Unerwarteter Wert beim Parsen des Attributs y1. www.gog.com
Unerwarteter Wert beim Parsen des Attributs x2. www.gog.com

and a big GoG sign and below the sign is:
"Your career is loading at https://www.gog.com/work "

Nothing else is shown in that F12 window.

Which version of Firefox and Greasemonkey do you have?

Thanks. So it doesn't look like it's an error then, or at least not an obvious one.

Edit: Oh, and do you have any other addons or userscripts installed?

hmm, i use the Firefox 54.0.1 and grease monkey 3.11 .

Besides Barefoot essential and Adalia i only have the Script "do you even play, bro" activated.
Other Addons are Adblock, Ghostery and no script.

I don't think i have anything else, but i'll look into it.

Ah, have you allowed my domain (gog.bigpizzapies.com) in your blockers? (can't remember which one of those is for blocking stuff, No Script I think)
It loads certain stuff from my domain and if that call fails the rest of the script might too (though I'm not sure if the Downloader Links button would still show in that case...)
well it didn't showed up until i did go to the domain and allowed it there through no script and ghostery.
So, now it should get through.
I closed my browser, but still i don't get the GoG classic download links on the newer games.

And as you said, its really weird that, although it seemed to be blocked the downloader links check box was
available all the time (and did work, as when i checked it either in the menu or direct on the game window i could click
on the download links which needed a separate program).

Hmm.. I'm not really sure what it could be then. I'll keep thinking about it and I'll try installing the add ons you have in my firefox test install to see if there are any other possible conflicts.
okay, thanks for all your work.
I looked at my addons, there are some youtube addons and surprisingly 2 otehr Adblock Addons (i have Adblock Plus, Adblock Ultimate and Adblock for youtube).
Also as it seems i have besides Ghostery also Request Policy.
I tried to let your domain be white listed on all these things (although i did not find a place in all the adblocker for that), but it seems it
still is not working as intended.

Its really curious that the older Games always show the classic installers, the newer games always have the GoG Galaxy Downloader as default.

Thanks for your work, really appreciate it.

A lot of games don't have Galaxy downloaders, so they will always default to classic installers, unfortunately that doesn't mean it's working...

I've got some work to do but I'll have another crack later and see if I can figure it out.
It's not problem, glad to help. I just hope we can make it work :)
Yeah, me too.
Happened twice that i did need to download a big game again, because i first downloaded the Galaxy Installers without noticing it.
And as my Internet Connection is not THAT fast, that takes time.
So, thanks for your help.

Did you try to deactivate all your add ons (except greasemonkey) to see if they are the problem?

I've tried adding all your addons to my firefox installation but I'm still not getting any errors (other than requiring to unblock Gog for the library to work at all)...

I'm imagining it may be a conflict between your various addons, and Marko's suggestion is probably the next step.
okay, thanks for the answer.
I'll try that out later and tell you if something did interfere with your script.
Thanks for all your help.

Luckily deactivating and reactivating add-ons in firefox is quite easy. I cannot count how often I found the solution to an add-on related problem because of this highly user friendly interface. Takes about a few seconds and makes bugfinding much easier. I still cannot understand why there was a time when I refused to change from IE to firefox :)

BTW: If you want top archive your games using adalia's script I cannot recommend the (officially not anymore but still at least on win7 working) GOG downloader high enough. It's so easy to use. Even with the possibility of downloading games through Galaxy I use it since day 1 :)

okay, now it is really getting weird.
i wanted to look at games which are by default with the Galaxy Installers.
One of them was Trails of Cold Steel.
But as i looked at it (without deactivating any Addon) it showed the classic installers.
So i looked some other "newer" games up, most of them had the classic installers (perhaps because i already switched them to classic installers as i downloaded them, could that be saved in the cache or something?), but as i looked at Gremlins Inc, it showed the Galaxy Installer.
So i started taking out Addons and restart my browser.
Sometimes Cold Steel had the Classic Installers, sometimes Galaxy Installers.
Only thing which ALWAYS had Galaxy Installers was Gremlins Inc(even when i switched it to classic installers).

And then i noticed, it had nothing to do with the Addons i activate or deactivate.
It seems that as soon as i close Firefox and open it again, the Installers switch.
Not for all, but for things like Cold Steel it does.
I tried it with deactivated Addons and with activated.
Its always the same.
One time it is Galaxy Installers, the next time Classic.

So, could it be that something else does not work on my end?
I tried nearly all of my addons (even deactivated the youtube addons) without success.
I tried it several times to close and open my browser again with the deactivated Addons, and as i said, it switches every time i open my browser again.

How very odd indeed...

Are the options in the script being maintained when you close Firefox? If you check or uncheck a box does it stay the same way after closing and reopening Firefox? If not it might be that the script options aren't being persisted properly... But to be honest that doesn't sound likely.

It sounds like it might be a corrupt profile or something... can you make a new profile and install GreaseMonkey and the script and nothing else and see what happens?
