aloishammer: Adalia, I can't believe I haven't heard of your script before now! This is a wonderful complement to Barefoot. The review-sorting is a livesaver!

I apologize if this is a duplicate question; I couldn't find the answer in a brief search: is it possible to see the older changelogs for a game title?

If not, I still greatly appreciate the ability to view ANY changelog at all.

Thanks so much for your work!
Glad you like it :)

For the games where the changelogs work and exist it should show all the available changelogs. Unfortunately changelogs are a fairly recent edition to Gog so they don't go back that far.

Do tell, is it a deluxe or GOTY one?

More like a special DRM free one like Armello ;)

Heh, it surely opened a whole new chapter for DRM-free gaming, and GOG in particular. Have a +1!

Right guys, a new update is here. A couple of minor things, and one hopefully fairly major one.

First, as has been previously requested I've removed the language forums from the subforum display when sorted.
I'm still working on sorting the topics I've participated in bit, but it will be coming.

Second, I've added the option to show the join date of users when searching for friends.

And last, and definitely not least, I've added the option to sort your library by most recently updated games ('Last Updated').

Thanks to Yepoleb's work on the Galaxy / Gog API I was able to find an easy way to find the information about updated games.
It's still a bit of a work in progress, but I wanted to push it out so people could test it and make sure it works and I haven't broken anything.
Right now there's a bit of a delay when it first sorts as it retrieves the info from my server but I'll find a way around that (I think I've already come up with a better way of doing it actually that should prevent the issue).
Second, it only sorts on updated Windows versions. There is data for Mac which I will add the option for once I know it's working, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be data for Linux (according to the API anyway) so I can't do much there.
Also it doesn't auto add new games yet, but I'll find the best way to do that too.

Let me know if there are any issues, and enjoy!

On an entirely unrelated note, I've had a few problems with the script randomly failing and also with the downloader links not always working (and at least one other person has had this issue too) refreshing usually seems to fix it, but I'm not quite sure why it's happening yet. So if anyone is getting anything similar let me know and I'll see if I can work out why it's doing it.

HypersomniacLive: *ding*
Edit: Oh yeah, I'm also planning to add a label to the game card that states the date of last update. I'm looking into displaying file names too, but can't get that bit of the API working yet....

Well hopefully this one works out of the box, unlike last years manual sorting ;)

Other than the delay at loading (which is a feature™ for now) I can't see anything wrong on my end, sort order seems to match what the update thread and changelog dates suggests is right.

Yeah on a quick look it seems to be working fine. I'll try to remember to give it a more thorough test tomorrow :D

Sorry to be the bearer of not so good news, but sort by Last Updated doesn't seem to work as intended for me.

The attached screenshot shows what I get, which translates to:
-- Mount & Blade: Warband - last updated: 22 December 2016
-- Darksiders Warmastered Edition - last updated:19 December 2016
-- The Settlers® 2: Gold Edition - 15 December 2016

So far so good, but:
-- Terraria - last updated: 07 December 2016
-- Defender's Quest - last updated: 07 December 2016
-- 1979 Revolution: Black Friday - last updated: 09 December 2016
-- The Real Texas - last updated: 22 December 2016

The Real Texas should be before or after Mount & Blade: Warband, and 1979 Revolution: Black Friday before Terraria and Defender's Quest , right?
Knock-Knock should also be somewhere at the top (got an update today), but isn't.

Didn't cross-check the rest.

I tested it with all games displaying in a single page, and with 100 games/page; same result.

Thanks Hyper, I'll look into it with those games tomorrow and see why they might be showing up wrong. Might be the data is not quite right or some sort of error with my sorting.

I don't know if I did something wrong but I switched the sort order in AF to "Last Updated" and now it shows an empty library with 4 pages?

Edit: Don't know why but switching from Legacy to GOG default and back to Legacy helped.

Edit2: I just read your reply - so basically I just did not wait long enough.

Ok... a quick look at the two issues mentioned says they were both actually updated on the 6th December, so there is no actual issue with the sorting.
I'm imagining that is either the date they were updated via Galaxy (as this is a Galaxy end point I'm utilising, which is actually why there is no Linux option too) or that the updates were there on that date and the changelog and notification weren't added until later... although the logs in the update thread suggests the former is more likely.

So I'm not sure how that effects things... obviously you might get a game flagged up as being new before the changes are available to download from the website but I don't think it should be a big enough snag to make the whole thing useless.
Once I can put the information about the update date and name somewhere that should help clear things up too.

You have to give it a while (like 30 seconds or so) to let it load before doing anything.

I'll try and do an update today with a better way to do it.

Right, small update.

I've changed the way the last updated info is loaded, it's now bundled in to the load with the Legacy urls, which adds a slight delay at the start, but it's not as noticeable as the previous delay.

I've also added the option to show the version and update time on the game cards.

Much faster (no problem for me with this speed) and version number is a great addition. Thank you as always. Whenever I think this cannot get any better you prove me wrong :)

Edit: There seems to be something wrong with Leisure Suit Larry (see attachement).
