Oh, I am so glad that I am obviously are not crazy. I never could figure out the sort order in sthis one and given the fact that most people probably want to follow their own postings (and possible answers) showing this quite short list without a proper sort order is a joke and nearly completely useless.

Sorry to bother again but it seems to be broken now.
Clicking the "sort by last updated" button now just lists all topics in alphabetical order without actually sorting them.

Bah. I'll have a look at it as soon as I get a chance (it had been doing that when I was working on it but I thought I fixed it so it sorted properly)

Nope, no error.

What browser are you on? I've just checked it and it's still working for me on Chrome... I'll have a check on Firefox and see if it's a browser issue.


Edit: Ok, on Firefox it's sorting the first half of the list but not the second... I'll see what's going on.

Yeah, it iseems to be Firefox issue.
I just tried it on Chrome and it works.
I use Vivaldi at home and it works there so I guess it wasn't working the whole time and I only noticed here on Firefox.

Seems like it's browser specific then, not quite sure why (this kind of stuff doesn't usually cause browser issues) but I'll have a poke about and sort it out.

New update.

Got it. The AJAX result with all the forums in contained text nodes with new lines in (stupid bad formatting), Firefox didn't like them and they messed with the sort. So I filtered them out and it works now.

I also added a checkbox to say whether you only want to sort your favourited forums.
I'll add the filter for the language forums when I get a chance.

Not even necessary to add language filter as they already disappear when they are not favourited. :-)
Or do you mean for overall list with all topics sorted? Very well then but I don't care about that one anymore. :-p

Just one question. When I click on the "Sort by Last Update" button, game forums get rearranged. But if I refresh the page, the list reverts back to alphabetical order, and the "Sort Favourites Only" box gets unchecked, if it was checked before.

Is this how it's supposed to work?

At the moment, yes. I haven't set it to save settings, apart from anything else it's only accurate if you resend the AJAX request (which would happen when you refreshed if you saved the settings) so I thought it's just as easy to press the button to refresh the forums and sort them as it is to refresh the whole page.

I can refactor it a bit if desired so that it automatically loads and sorts the list but it means extra AJAX calls and slow down on loading if your not actually looking for the game forums.

Typing on my phone, not sure any of that really makes sense.

Tldr: It doesn't work that way at the moment, but with a bit more work I could make it work that way if people want.
