It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Haha, it sure sounds like it, I better start taking notes.

adaliabooks: Well, as it's already collapsible if you just want it collapsed by default that's pretty easy, it's just a CSS class.
I can remove it entirely if you prefer (or give the option to do either).

IAmSinistar: Both options would likely please the largest group of users, but I would be grateful for either. Thanks muchly!
New update is here, enjoy :)

Works great, cheers!
Ugh. How do I force an update to the scripts? I had to do a system restore and I have a very old version now.

Go to the website and click on the "Raw" button

If on Firefox, or similar, go to your scripts page, right-click on AF and choose "Find updates".
If on Chrome, and using Tampermonkey, click on it and choose "Check for userscripts updates".

Or do what Moon suggested.

Just had to re-install, so setting up again I noticed a new setting at the bottom of the Forum tab.
"Option to show, collapse or remove the Hot Topics section from the Community page"

I never even knew this part of the site even exited until I saw this setting. Problem is, now that I have seen it, I can't un-see it. Soo.. Any chance you could slap in the same thing for the other stuff on that page?
- Community Wishlist - this week's highlights
- My favourite topics
- Topics I've participated in

Also, not sure if it is possible, but could something similar be possible for the "General Forums"? I lack the educations for reading anything other than English. If the other ones could be collapsed, it would mean slightly less scrolling to get to the game specific boards below for super lazy bums like myself.

Haha, yeah, I never look at those bits usually either.. I'm sure I can put in an option to hide them too.

Hiding the non English forums should be easy enough too.

I'll get on it as soon as I have a chance.

Neither do I, still it's a shame that, while the native forum S/W lets you collapse them, they revert back to showing as soon as you close that page.

Fun fact - if you collapse your favourite topics, then open your "My posts (Forum replies)" page, it's empty, even if you have replies, and even if none of them are in any of your favourite topics.

Ah. That's not really desirable behaviour... I'll look into it, probably re-used CSS classes or something.
Thanks Hyper :)

As suspected, it's a (really badly) reused CSS ID on the replies page that is the same as the favourites box on the normal forum...

I'll put a workaround for it in the next update so it doesn't happen.

I didn't post about it to create more work for you, still I appreciate fixing it in the next update.
