HypersomniacLive: Hey adaliabooks, I was wondering if there's any chance you'd revisit adding top pagination on the wishlist.
Yeah, why not. I can't see it being too much trouble (it's just getting the position and CSS right that can be tricky with that kind of thing)

More games per page is probably not going to happen though drealmer, getting it working in the library was enough hassle... and I don't really have the time to devote to trying to make it work on the wishlist right now.

[...].
I just remember that it was conflicting with something on the wishlist, and was scrapped because of that. Hope you get it working without much hassle this time.

Anywhere we can make and vote a wishlist entry for it?

No worries! More games per page on the WL isn't really something that I want even necessarily, it just came to mind.

You know the thing I dooooo want sooo badly though, right? :þ (I certainly don't mean to be annoying about it though!!! It's all good!! I love AF!!! *pets pets pets*)

The ability to ISO posters is almighty! *bows*

The ability to prioritize the WL is almighter! *bows bows*

The ability to manually sort is ALMIGHTIEST *bows bows bows*

Question and request.

is it doable for the game counter in our libraries to not count any demos?
If it is, how difficult would it be to have such an option?

Probably not.
Right now I just take the number Gog returns and display it. The first issue would be that I doubt Gog differentiates between proper games and demos (though I haven't checked) so I'm not sure it would be easy to count each to get a non demo count.
Plus I would need to actually count the library myself, which introduces a whole slew of AJAX calls and overhead that's really not worth it for the return you get...

Easiest answer is to hide them (that should mean they don't show in the count I think) or download them, back them up elsewhere and have Gog remove them (but that might be a little bit extreme)

Sorry.

No need to apologise, was just a thought, and nth I can't live without. Cheers.

I just wanted to say how much I like the chat transcript feature. It did take a while and needs popup blocker to be disabled on gog but then it's great for searching through the chat. Thank you for this.

No problem, glad you like it :)

For (at least) the past couple of days, when I open my chat, it does not go to the first unread message, instead it opens to the conversation I last had with the person that shows as online at the time.

EDIT: It actually goes to the person online I last sent a message to, even when I have newer messages from people that also show as online. Happened just now.

Anyone else having this? Did GOG make any changes that mess with the settings of AF?

It was working normally for me last I had it happen which was yesterday, so, a "no" from me as far as I can tell.

Hmmm. Odd...
Now that you mention it I may have had something similar a while back but just shrugged it off. I don't chat a lot so I tend not to notice stuff like that, but I seem to remember having sent a message to someone and received a message from someone else and the person I sent the message to opened (with the other person being on top of the sorting list with an unread message) first...

Not sure if it's an issue with me or Gog though... I presumed the opened chat was just the first in the list usually but I don't really know...
I think it may have happened to me at some point previously but I barely noticed / wasn't familiar enough with how it was working to have it register very hard in the brain.

Maybe try unapplying/reapplying the setting?

Things look a bit different today, as I received two more messages, but they're replies to the ones I last sent. On first visit, it opened to the newest unread message (was also the one I had messaged last yesterday), but the sender of an older unread one was listed at the top of my contacts list (the person that sent me a message last was offline at the time, while the other one online).

It'd seem that unread messages are placed at the very top, but they're not necessarily listed in chronological order in the contacts list, and online status takes precedence among them.

Will have to see how it behaves once I receive messages that aren't replies to mine.

The other question (though a little harder to check, but not impossible) is what is the Gog behaviour if AF is off? If it's the same than it is something Gog have done that I might be able to change, if it's not than it may be a bug on my side.

I got two new messages, one was a reply.

Person A messaged me first (the reply), person B last.
Chat opened to person's B exchanges.
Parson A was listed at the top of my contacts list, person B right below them.
Both were off-line at the time.

Replied to person B.
Closed chat without reading person's A message.
Disabled AF, reopened chat.

Chat opened to the exchanges with person B.
Person A still at the top.
Read person's A message, closed chat without replying, reopened chat.

Chat opened to the exchanges with person A.
Person B showed online, and at the top of my contacts.
Closed chat, enabled AF (set to Last Active), reopened chat.

Chat opened to the exchanges with person B (my last sent message).
Person B is still at the top of my contacts, person A underneath.
Both showed off-line at the time.

Reopening the chat with AF disabled again, still gets me the exchanges with person B, and them at the top of my contacts.

I think that the order in the contacts list shows unread messages in newer-to-older order, and as soon as a message is opened, the sender moves down a spot. That still doesn't explain though why the chat opens to conversations where i was the last one to send a message instead of opening the next unread one.
