mrkgnao: Just drawing your attention, in case it becomes relevant, that the library ID for "Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut, The" differs from the catalogue ID:
- library ID: 1448013298
- catalogue ID: 1268757981
Thanks, it's already been reported to me that the cover is missing in Legacy so that will probably be the reason. I'll fix it as soon as I get a chance.
BlackThorny: No problems, thanks for your feedback! :)
As mentioned, It already seemed like a stretch while posting,
so I made sure to list anything relevant to allow some clarifications regarding what's possible (maybe) and what (most probably) isn't.
Regarding the adding of a new section, I think this should be actually done through Magog, all I asked was a courtesy link,
and storing some data as cache that Magog can use?
Not really sure how Magog works with local cache but I assume you did something similar while storing the shelf arrangement?
Now that think about it, maybe it's worth taking a look at
Barefoot Essentials for some of these, including the library sharing.
I could host a separate page myself that held all the needed info, but the issue with that is that I would then need to make sure all the info was secure and encrypted properly so someone couldn't just grab everyone's codes and redeem them.. and I'm not really willing to be responsible for that kind of thing.
As for the feature I mentioned (public library sharing) I had hoped to do it on Gog without an external site, as we already have that feature through BE and the library sync to the wiki. So hosting something somewhere else defeats the purpose. I may come back to it, the main problem was that the Gog 404 pages don't include the angular scripts needed to recreate the library (and basically I was going to turn an unused URL into my own page by changing the 404 page you got for that URL into what I wanted) and I couldn't get them to include in a way that would work...
