plagren: To get individual cover images you can use:
http://www.gog.com/mix/ajax?a=getGame&description=&selOrder=2&gameId=4 Unfortunately the GOGmix approach doesn't work for games that have been removed from the catalog, or for "unbundled" box art - though I suppose you could just put those image URLs directly the script, if you can dig them up somehow (I may have a list somewhere...)
Maybe GOG will give us direct access to this stuff if we ask nicely? Eh. Maybe not.
Thanks!
That should help quite a bit :)
Yeah... somehow I doubt it, I did ask support about the black shelf but still waiting to hear back...
HypersomniacLive: Ha, I hadn't noticed this. It is indeed odd that it's the default view that breaks.
Are you referring to a browser add-on or S/W in general? Doesn't really matter though, as far as I can tell, the answer is no in both cases.
I'm currently stuck with my old monitor on a 1024X768 resolution.
The only thing I suspected of getting in the way was a userstyle that slims down the nav-bar, but I've disabled it and it didn't make much of a difference - see attached screenshots, first is with the userstyle enabled, second with it disabled.
The issues starts slowly with the second row (they're a tiny bit lower which makes them look as if they're a tad more to the front), gets pretty noticeable at the fifth, and it keeps going downhill from there.
I could understand if the playing around with the margins and padding that I needed to do had put it off somehow, but why the normal view should have stopped working I'm not sure (I did need to change it slightly so it could switch between the two, but it's just basically reloading it so it shouldn't effect it)
Yeah, just add ons or plug ins for the browser really...
I've just tried changing my resolution to 1024 x 768 and it didn't make any difference to the view, so that's not it.
It sounds like a problem with the margins... I'm not sure why, but when I was playing around trying to get it right if the margins were off by a pixel or two I had the same issue... but once I found the perfect numbers it stopped (which is odd in itself, if each box has the same margin then there should be no drift...)
I'll keep working on it, thanks for the info :)
