Abishia: any games i should take a look?

This GOG forum thread might have some suggestions ya might like
(there are other similar threads as well, but I forget the URLs atm)
As for me: I think the one Van Helsing rpg looks good(got it, but didn't play it yet), and also I like the small indie-ish game called Greed: Black Border(this one is not available on GOG, sadly).

GamezRanker:
Looks rather like classic Hack'n'Slay options (mostly top-down).

I think Kingdom of Amalur is kind of comparable to Tera. 3rd person view, linear exploration, direct action input with skill activation with cool downs. It's also not too difficult. At times it has nice vibrant colours and lighting, making it a bit stand out visually.

My bad....I was mostly focusing on the title of this thread.

I second the KoA recommendation...it's a nice game(from what I played).

(well, except the very small starting inventory limit)

how 'bout some shooters such as Crysis remastered or Doom (2016)
Dragon's Dogma
That was the first thing that jumped to my mind as well.
Then there is AC: Origin, Odyssey, Valhalla.
I am currently playing Ys8 which is an action hack and slash, not bad, some Metroid elements.
Two worlds
Heck there are lots of them.
I agree with the above: Kingdoms of Amalur and Dragon's Dogma.

Also, Van Helsing, Titan's Quest, and the Dungeon Siege series.

I'm a big fan of the Games Farm games: Vikings -Wolves of Midgard, and Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms. I love the combat in these games. I see them as action games with rpg elements.

I have all of these 3 installed atm. Didn't get to VH yet, but TQ is most def. fun, and so is DS.
(i'm actually playing Dungeon Siege as I surf the net today, with the HD upscaled texture packs....imo, the gameplay still holds up well till this very day)

Apart from Dragon's Dogma, you might get a kick out of Darksiders II
Divinity 2
why not the remastered version of darksiders to start with instead of 2 :)

Edit:

Warmastered version!

My thoughts exactly, darksiders 1 is the best of the series. 2 was good, but not as focused as 1 and the loot upgrading didn’t work great. 3 meh.
System Shock 2 - action with heavy rpg elements, great story.
Bioshock series - more action than rpg granted, but what action! and what story!
Deus Ex - from first one if u can stomach dated graphics, but at least last two installments. Some say is the mother and father of action rpg genre.
These all to the scifi side, there are some great ones to fantasy side too, just cant remember them atm, beside the obvious ones: Skyrim, Oblivion, Neverwinter Nights 1,2, Gothic Series, Dragon Age ones, maybe Ultima 9 Ascension and Arx Fatalis.

None of these games is even remotely similar to TERA or Nier. But you reminded me that in sci-fi setting op might check out The Surge and Hellpoint.
