Is there going to be a Great firewall of Britain? Are they going to refuse all internet access period? If no to both of these, i don't see the point of this thread.

Maybe they'll learn to soon regret their boneheaded decisions since the United Kingdom is no longer the Neo Roman Empire, but an irrelevant little plot whose major exports are tea, television, and jaffa cakes. (And Royal drama, if you care about that.)

Also, a blue should lock this thread up, or something. With new forum rules, political discussion, especially agenda-pushing and fear-inducing, makes the environment in GOG "toxic" and "unfriendly". Do the rules apply to everybody??? Or rules are "too niche", too!!!

As to the OP, its actually a good question. While I doubt we'd have access cut immediately, theres no real plans in place for anything should we crash out.

The only way would be if something seriously breaks down and they drastically limit trade between the UK and EU. We always had acces in the US and I didnt even realize it is a Polish company until a couple years ago. I think its highly unlikely to change much other than prices if tarriffs are enacted, but EU and UK i think depend pretty heavily upon trade with each other so I doubt either will do anything to interfere unless something goes really bad.

From what Ive seen from what Ive followed, it looks like the party backing the exit isnt even that enthusiastic about it and is doing the minimum necessary. I personally dont think you have to worry about your access to GoG. Just remember, the European countries all traded long before the EU. Your countries are very similar in size and population to our states and our states would fall apart without commerce between them

I left the UK around 14 years ago, my own personal "Brexit" if you will, making the most of freedom of movement within the EU to immerse myself in the Spanish culture, language and lifestyle. I haven't looked back and the shambles that is Brexit has only convinced me further that I made the right decision. My next step is applying for Spanish citizenship, given my desire to personally remain a part of the EU and my chosen country of residence, even if it means renouncing my British citizenship. Thankfully, I've lived, worked and contributed here for long enough to make the process relatively straightforward.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy my gaming here at GOG without any problems, although for the OP, there's no reason why Brexit should potentially have any affect on your purchases and ability to buy games here. The only thing that might be affected could be prices in the future, especially if the Pound tanks against the Euro and the Dollar, if regional pricing becomes a factor for a post-Brexit UK.

Nevertheless, I still hope that people back in the UK are somehow able to halt this entire mess, once and for all. Especially given the division and uncertainty it's caused for so many millions of people.
