We could say the same re Google-translated Deutsch into Englisch, but will refrain. As for our humour, our legions of adoring fans hang on every dulcet morsel, and who are we to question their impeccable taste?((;--))

No one else but you tries to make a point by trying to make fun of someone elses language or heritage. Just stick to the forum language and everyone's happy.

Think of it more as a 'restoration to the full game' patch, and less 'uncovers everything'.

I see a lot of references in adult games where the censorship is either none/mosaics/god lights. But those places tend to specify the type, rather than pretending it's a kid's game with the patch shoved in the corner while also spotlighting that it is an adult game.

Ehh you can thank countries like mine for the mentioned behaviour. They simply couldn't sell it over here otherwise.
Anything that is uncensored from the get go is blocked if you got a german IP for the fear of getting sued.

Those other places usually aren't based in Europe and do no official business here so them is save.

Well i hope you at least can get both halves (censored game plus patch) to actually play the game(s).

Though having them in two parts would make streaming said games easier as you could maybe play two instances at the same time (one visible one not) and tell where there's content you're missing. But seems like more a headache.

It's not just the countries.
There are platforms like Gamejolt or Epicstore which only sell the censored version of games, House Party being an example.

Everyone's afraid of soccer moms, they are quite noisy.

Well personally VPNs are not a problem here. But otherwise you have to get the unrated patch somewhere else(Usually the publishers site).

An extra unnecessary step to be sure.

I'd kinda prefer to include the unrated patch with the game, but as a extraction zip file (so still separate but you won't forget it).
