So I was looking on todays sale and noticed Risen was for sale, on clicking and seeing the 'Buy Series' I noticed the price of £32.64 for all 3 games, except you're not just buying all 3 games, you're buying stuff already included in some of the other items for sale!!

They have 6 items in the series:

Risen - £1.39
Risen 2: Dark Waters Gold Edition - £4.19
Risen 2: Dark Waters - £2.79
Risen 3: Titan Lords - £7.59
Risen 3: Titan Lords - Upgrade To Complete - £4.09
Risen 3: Titan Lords Complete Edition - £12.59

Which adds up to £32.64

But, in reality, you're buying 3 items you don't need:

Risen 2: Dark Waters - £2.79 is included in the Gold Edition and Risen 3: Titan Lords - £7.59, Risen 3: Titan Lords - Upgrade To Complete - £4.09 are not needed as the Complete Edition contains these!

So you're actually paying £14.47 MORE than you should be paying!! You only need to buy the following:

Risen - £1.39
Risen 2: Dark Waters Gold Edition - £4.19
Risen 3: Titan Lords Complete Edition - £12.59

Total of £18.17 or £17.26 if you buy Risen 3 and the Upgraded instead of Complete!

I noticed this on Steam as well with the 'Add all DLC to Cart' option and finding you've added a Season Pass plus all the DLC already in the Season Pass too!! I find it a very sneaky practise and so you should all carefully check what you are buying if there is a 'Series' for sale!!
This is a bug in the website for sure, I'd report it to support so they can fix it hopefully.
Not to mention, if you buy the base Risen 3 and then buy the DLC, you say > £1!

If it's handled the same way on Steam, it's just as likely that the publisher wants it this way.

You should by now only see the actual games (Risen, Risen 2: Dark Waters, and Risen 3: Titan Lords) in the series. All of the other bits (Upgrades and Complete Editions) have been removed from the series.

Please let me know if everything looks better on your end :)

This is not the only case. Are there plans to do the same for other series?

HypersomniacLive: EDIT: On second thought - does this change mean that if completing a series offers a discount, that discount is no longer applicable in case one opts for the Gold/Complete/Deluxe/etc editions instead?
Well I'd guess this is only for series that don't have a discount. It is not like every one has such a discount. I am wondering if there even is a series where there is a discount and one of the games has different editions.

That's a good point. I'll ask MaGog.

And MaGog has spoken. No series that comes with a discount has different editions for any of the games of the series.

Not sure that was what should have happened? Yes, it shows the base games now but I would have thought offering the most complete versions of the series to be in order, so Risen, Risen 2: Dark Waters Gold Edition and Risen 3: Titan Lords Complete Edition?

Anyway, from 'sharp' practise to 'sharp' action :) Congrats on acting so quickly on this, have now bought the 'series' but I bought Risen 3 and the upgrade to save £0.91 :D

Pretty sure MaGog is better!
