No GOG keys for January? :( I can gift the Star Wars Origin key at least.

The last 3 months of 2021 saw Prime Gaming giving GOG keys:
- Ghostrunner in October
- Control: Ultimate Edition in November
- Journey to the Savage Planet and Frostpunk in December

You're lamenting the fact that we had no GOG key in January and what I wanted to say is that hopefully this doesn't mean that we won't be getting more GOG keys in the future.

you're right! We'll probably get more in the future. I just wanted Paperbeasts to be a GOG key but that was wishful thinking. I'll enjoy the game anyway! :)

Ugh... I was at work and forgot the date epic games was doing it's christmas thing.. and I missed shenmue 3! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Uhuh I didn't even bother to redeem that XD to each.. sometimes they repeat the same game, so you might have another chance

Welcome to my club, and I only had like 40 minutes to spare to get the second free game.

Completely slipped my mind that it may have started already.

I got all the rest, except a few I already had free at Epic.

Shenmue 3 looked like it might have been a good game too ... oh well, they sometimes repeat free games at Epic.

I have a friend who has been waiting a good while for The Witness to be repeated, as something happened the first time and he missed it ... I think he thought he'd already grabbed it, but then he later recalled he had issues accessing Epic that day.

I hope they give Axiom Verge again, at least to celebrate the release of the sequel. The devs HATE GOG and have insulted heavily a user who dared to ask if the game would be here, so I think I won't get it in otherways XD

That's a weird story since it has the vibe that seems to fit with gog and it's already drm free at epic anyway.

Devs on EPIC sometimes don't know that their game is "DRM-free", also there is no downloadable installers. But for some reason this dev had become paranoid that the GOG user asking him if he would put the game on GOG, was some undercover GOG staff member trying to trick him into...selling his game here? A bit cookoo ahah

I think that's a bit of an embellishment. IIRC the user used to ask multiple devs if they would bring their games here. The devs for this game, when he asked them, thought he was unusually pushy. Somebody looked into the poster, saw his multiple posts to devs, and assumed he was an undercover gog staff. The devs thought that was a really shady way to approach them, and it turned them completely off gog thinking them incredibly underhanded if this is how they operated.

Though things were later cleared up, I don't know what their current view of gog is. But I don't think they HATE gog.

A little off-topic but what is the best way to back-up DRM-free games from Epic?
