Big changes are here.

My Account is the heart of your GOG.com experience. It's the one place that's 100% yours, and the place you always go to download your games and manage the entire library.
Starting today, your My Account is completely new - remade and redesigned from scratch to better support our growing library of games and many of your biggest requests. Aside from every usability fix we could think of, we've also introduced brand new tools to keep your library organised, and new social features to stay in touch with your friends.

The list of new features is long, but you can see the whole thing on our forums. The most important highlights include:

--Support for friends lists and chat.
--Shared wishlists.
--Advanced filtering and custom tags for your library.
--A new, detailed order history.
--Accessible game changelogs.

We're sure that these new changes will greatly improve your overall user experience on GOG.com, and we can't wait to hear what you think on the wishlist and right here in the comments!
I think it would do if we could find other players via a search bar.

mrkgnao: Some of them, but at least in my case, not all conversations.

ET3D: I thought so at first, then realised that a scroll bar appears when I'm over the contact list and I can get to the other contacts. I can't tell if it's really everything (too many to remember), but it looks pretty comprehensive.
I have at least one person who's completely missing from my chat and I had probably shared at least 50 PMs with him.

Tarnicus: Chronlogical sorting of messages would make a lot of sense wouldn't it? Since using the new system, I have noticed that new messages are sorted chronologically (after showing the 30-40 people online) and after that it is a mess.
Chronological, alphabetical, anything but current random mess with no apparent pattern.
I don't know if this is the proper place to post this, but I'm getting a constant library notification for quite some time now. Except I'm not seeing anything in my library that'd warrant a notification.

I tried doing random stuff on it (sorting and resorting, checking for games that were unbundled recently, etc), and I also tried checking other parts of My Account (chat, friends, etc), but I'm still couldn't get rid of it. Galaxy is not indicating anything either. Quite annoying.
Sigh...well, I've been on vacation for a while, so this is my first brush with the new account/library features. Add another vote to the pile saying please give back manual sorting. My old library was neatly sorted by title, series order, and then divided into completed / still in the backlog, with the backlogged titles at the top for easy viewing.

Now I have a jumbled mess of "completed" tags scattered throughout, so it's much harder to see at a glance what's still in my backlog. And despite sorting by title basically all of my games in series are completely out of order. I especially like how Thief goes Thief 2 -> Thief 3 -> Thief Gold. That's not completely backwards at all! Icewind Dale 2 also evidently comes before Icewind Dale 1, and the Legacy of Kain series has been rearranged into a total trainwreck.

Tags are useless. I want the ability to rearrange my library as I please back.

mrkgnao: However, I do resent GOG for turning into a buggy steam wannabe. This is not the website I joined years ago and I fail to see why one cannot welcome newcomers while still preserving the legacy of the website of olden days.

I would prefer to experience the GOG of early days than the Valve of early days.
I think the same.
Newcomers are not the issue. The issue is in GOG avoiding being prepared for that to happen, knowningly.
New users demand community manager and more people to deal with this change. Someone for instance that could redirect all the same topic thread to the correct area. They could also create FAQs. But more importantly, they should have been ready with a functional site and Galaxy Client off the beta before TW3 release. They instead created instability chopping down their site right before that, inconveniencing both old and new users.
That's not how thing should be done, and there are no excuse about that.

Anyway be soft on the newcomers. They'll be left out too when the next wave of new users come.
When the amount of money they spend will start to drop, they'll become irrelevant like us old users.

HypersomniacLive: This is getting better and better - I can now hover over my own avatar and start a conversation with myself and even invite me to be my friend.

I will refrain from clicking on either of these choices, as I fear the buggy mess I may find myself in if I do.

The purpose of us giving feedback is to improve things, like stopping the "Start Conversation" link from acting like "Add to contacts list", and not to introduce more problems. You know that, GOG, right?
I suspect the next wishlist requests could be "act reasonably" or "do thing professionally" and still be valid. The amount of suggestions and feedback given at this point to the site and galaxy should figure as software analysis, that was obviously not done properly before.
One thing is changing something and incur in an issue, another is pushing untested changes live.

I hope now that TW3 is out, and they don't have to show off anymore, maybe they'll focus on diligently create something useful for their users, instead of having them doing most of the work.

Joke answer: Yes, gog galaxy !

Serious Answer: yes, download gog downloader, then on the game description from your account, use the option "gog downloader links" in the drop down menu. you then can click on the installer link and/or the goodies pack link of the game and it will queue download all the parts of the installer and/or all the corresponding goodies of it too.

No need to bother yourself clicking manually on each download link parts individually that are spotlighted in the front pop up description of the game.

and if you ask why they made a client that doesnt work, and why they buried the links for the reliable downloader all under a layer of scattered links.... wel, we too are asking ourselves why :)

http://www.gog.com/galaxy

Warning! It is still in beta and may have some issues.
I got a simple question:
In the old design, i could see if there were updates to a game...i had 2 notifications now, but nothing was marked or showed as updated on my game list when i checked, but i assume some of it was The Witcher 3.
Are there any simple way to see or sort what games was updated recently? With all the updates that goes on, i had to redownload like half my game library a while back to get the latest versions, would be nice to be able to not have to click on every link on every game to try and find out :)

Click on "My Collection (???, 2 updated)", select Updated.
Note that updated games are now marked with a rather inconspicuous blue dot.
