Big changes are here.

My Account is the heart of your GOG.com experience. It's the one place that's 100% yours, and the place you always go to download your games and manage the entire library.
Starting today, your My Account is completely new - remade and redesigned from scratch to better support our growing library of games and many of your biggest requests. Aside from every usability fix we could think of, we've also introduced brand new tools to keep your library organised, and new social features to stay in touch with your friends.

The list of new features is long, but you can see the whole thing on our forums. The most important highlights include:

--Support for friends lists and chat.
--Shared wishlists.
--Advanced filtering and custom tags for your library.
--A new, detailed order history.
--Accessible game changelogs.

We're sure that these new changes will greatly improve your overall user experience on GOG.com, and we can't wait to hear what you think on the wishlist and right here in the comments!

eiii: Bulky and clunky as the rest of the site. I guess it has to be that ugly on the new GOG site.
But if it at least works stable I can live with it.

Some questions:
- Are the old conversations gone (without a forewarning as usual?!) or do you import them later?
- Is there an option to set the number of games / entries displayed per page? I would like to have them all in one page.
- Where's the gift list?

They will be imported later.

Rinu: Cool to see some changes in account system but can you please tell me where can I found former Messages? I used it as a reminder of usernames and some game-related information. Now I can't find it at all :(.

If I click on Chat, I get "You have no active conversations".
There gone baby gone.

Supposed to come back eventually though.

it is a stone carved rule that we are supposed to "BE social" no matter what, even if you don't want :(

i hate this policy about injecting social features everywhere and forcing them upon people unless they actively try to save themselves from it

as far i could understood :

- atm you can't set the numbers of games per pages (at least didn't find how)
- gift list -> under orders & settings -> untick all options in the orders history menu except last two (or last one depending what you need)

would be better to put a X to clear all selected options.

If you select Account, then go to Orders and settings, choose privacy you can select Allow conversations with Nobody and share wishlist with nobody.
So your statement is false, at least when it comes to gog.

Glad to see these requested changes coming! Should make it easier to manage my account for sure. I also like that the new friends and chat features and whatnot are entirely optional but available should I want to use them.

Is there a way to see my current store credit?

I did not find it in the new account system, but it would be neat to see it on the account & locale page and / or in the order history, even it is Zero.

Click Account -> Orders & Settings and then you should see all the store credit you have and in whatever supported currency you have it in :)

Just wanted to add my 2 cents:

- not having a "bookshelf" view sucks (this is my game collection -- let me see it as that instead of some ugly card catalog)
- no sorting SUCKS (come on, if you want this to be my game collection, let me look at it how I want!)

Other than that, things seem good. But please bring back sorting and the library view!

I'd like to know why someone wanted me as their friend, and I'd also like the chance when I decline to say it's not them, it's me (I don't want any friends!).

Currently it all just seems so rude.
Click Account -> Friends and then do what you will :)

they should straight up just implement emailing you when a wishlisted game goes on sale. That would add huge functionality to My Account and the Wishlist. Aside from better sorting options I think this is the thing people have requested the most. Vote it up people!!
