Big changes are here.

My Account is the heart of your GOG.com experience. It's the one place that's 100% yours, and the place you always go to download your games and manage the entire library.
Starting today, your My Account is completely new - remade and redesigned from scratch to better support our growing library of games and many of your biggest requests. Aside from every usability fix we could think of, we've also introduced brand new tools to keep your library organised, and new social features to stay in touch with your friends.

The list of new features is long, but you can see the whole thing on our forums. The most important highlights include:

--Support for friends lists and chat.
--Shared wishlists.
--Advanced filtering and custom tags for your library.
--A new, detailed order history.
--Accessible game changelogs.

jalister: I do appreciate some of the organization tools in the library, but everything else is so inefficient. So much more clicking to get around to anything. Before I just loaded my library page and clicked on my game. Everything would show up right there on the same page. Now it's a clickfest. I also don't like the downloader links buried deeper into the system.
Fully agree, everything is more difficult to get to. I do like the order history and change list, but everything is too large. I wish I could change the font size or something.

ALH: PM's are allegedly to return but gone for now.Gifts can be found under Orders & Settings / Orders History.
Not gifts that were PM' d to me. And what about messages from friends I hadn't replied to as I've been working all weekend?

Grargar: If it's that bad, then go to your account, click "Orders and Settings", "Privacy", and on the "Allow Conversations" Box, select "with friends only".

also, my *website* Chat is just broken, period. people I know are online aren't visible, and some of the people on my list aren't showing up.

I also want manual sorting back for keeping a series together. The current sorting options are too limited.

Garrett24601: Please bring back the manual section, because now all the games are out of order and in worst positioning than Steam. I'm not a fan of this change.

One: Library takes up too much space and has less games on screen.
Two: Can not reorder games manually. Now series are all over the place.
Three: Sadly Steam gives you more control over your rentals.
Lastly: Why couldn't the GOG team let us (The paying customer) know this was going to be the new Library. I spent a decent amount of time fixing the order of my games after the Unbunling for nothing.
Here, here!

I had my games ordered manually so I could see at a glance what games were in progress, what games I had completed, and what games I had yet to begin. Now, there's a whole new order without any warning and I can't reorganize my games manually at all.

I generally like new UI changes, but why do designers always insist on taking away features when they change things?

As said.All PM's are lost for the moment.They are supposed to return but i sure don't know when.

PM's will be imported to the chat system, but it'll take a little while.

I really welcome any improvement on this part (''My Account"). Still, I feel you have done it very cautiously while it needs much more redesign/improvement.
1) It comes to my mind e.g. to group some games to 'folder'/'sub-categories' or collective 'icon'. = something which will decrease number of shown games (but do not really hide them... just see the whole set of your games but somehow sorted)
2) Tags are definitely nice feature. Option to 'select' game(s) e.g. to set them same tag would be VERY helpful. If you have lots of games it is really a nuisance to click on each separately a select tag from list...

Looks okay, as some have mentioned it does look more like a catalog now than a game shelf.

Suggestions:

1. Rebundle the games so they are displayed one icon per purchased game with option to download singular or bundled.
2. Autoload when scrolling through game list, page number clicking is primitive.
3. Feels like more time/clicks is necessary to do the same things before, kind of like a step backwards - did the person who designed this thing also come up with the new Chrome "Stars" Bookmarks system? lol

by the way, to anyone who hates the new Chrome bookmarks, copy/paste this to address bar:
chrome://flags/#enhanced-bookmarks-experiment

and selected 'disabled' on the first option.
