Big changes are here.

My Account is the heart of your GOG.com experience. It's the one place that's 100% yours, and the place you always go to download your games and manage the entire library.
Starting today, your My Account is completely new - remade and redesigned from scratch to better support our growing library of games and many of your biggest requests. Aside from every usability fix we could think of, we've also introduced brand new tools to keep your library organised, and new social features to stay in touch with your friends.

The list of new features is long, but you can see the whole thing on our forums. The most important highlights include:

--Support for friends lists and chat.
--Shared wishlists.

Where are my gifts (l have LOTS of ungifted codes on my account) and my old messages? (I was PM'd a gift code this weekend. I haven't had the chance to reply yet or to redeem my gift!)

jalister: I'm not optimistic. People complained about the look of the new site, and nothing changed. People complained about the performance of the site on smartphones. To this day the site is still slow on my phone.

I had no issue with GOG selling new games or movies. I don't have a problem with Galaxy since it's optional. But it seems like so many design choices that have been made just completely alienate the feel of what GOG used to be.
But it's the only thing we can do. Just mention at every possibility how poor the new look looks and maybe they will get annoyed by it too and change it.

Maybe all employees of GOG have GOG clients installed at home too and GOG accounts and game shelfes and have to suffer the same drop in visual quality. Nothing beats to have to suffer your own shortcomings. :)

PM's are allegedly to return but gone for now.Gifts can be found under Orders & Settings / Orders History.

Seems very strange to me.
Probably remnants and/or upcoming new languages. The game seems to be English-only on other stores.

Nothing for me either (as of 40 minutes later). I also have Dreamfall chapters (very new game)... no changelog there either.

Love the changes... and wanted to confirm that a changelog on the gametab somewhere is very important. As you mentioned, both for developer and GOG changes to the game. And this is true for all games in the catalog, not just the new ones.

I'd also like to be able to mark a game with the blue dot and remove the blue dot manually. When I click it to check and see what the update might be, it clears it from the updated list but I wasn't ready or able to download it. Now when I get home, I'll have no clue what games need to be updated.

I'm very happy with the rest of the changes so far.

caledhel: I had 133 games on my shelf before this and now I have only 122. O_o I don't know exactly what's missing but I can see that Heroes of Might & Magic 5 isn't there anymore, only the expansions. What's going on?

gamesfreak64: that has happend many many times, press F5 or refresh then it shoud turn to normal dont forget to remove 1, thats the client it is counted as a game i have 354 games now and i knwo i have 353 so the 354 is the galaxy client, i sugested that it would get its own tab like tools or so on the tab so it not be added as a game.

well have to get some food am 2 hours late already
I tried that and nothing happened. I logged out and cleared the cache and then logged back in and still nothing happened.

Edit: oh wait it's bundled with hammers of fate. My fault sorry. >_<. Have some games been rebundled recently?

The boxes are important. They are part of the whole "you own it" feeling. Now its functunal but without life. No idea how dry storeart takes less space than a boxart image.

I understand that you guys prefer to keep things simple from your side, but that's going too far.

Every visual change that has been made to this site over the last year has sucked the life out of the site.

And we still can't move our games around like we used to.

JudasIscariot: That should still be working as it was before. Unfortunately, I don't have any game updates atm to show you that it does.
You can always summon Geralt or a certain sphere. ;-P
