Big changes are here.

My Account is the heart of your GOG.com experience. It's the one place that's 100% yours, and the place you always go to download your games and manage the entire library.
Starting today, your My Account is completely new - remade and redesigned from scratch to better support our growing library of games and many of your biggest requests. Cavenagh: What happened to the GOG downloader?, or has galaxy replaced that now.
it should be working but dont count on it, or something like that i read in the posts.
normally i use the old simple gog downlaoder instead of clicking all those seperate links.

Grargar: If it's that bad, then go to your account, click "Orders and Settings", "Privacy", and on the "Allow Conversations" Box, select "with friends only".

Now it doesn't feel like my own personal space for games.....
same here..... i lost at least 2 Kilos when crying over it... but if it has to be (i hope not i hope the shelves will be revived before they recycle it to oblivion) it just has to be i guess.... that will be a sad day

You can still use the downloader, but it's a little more complicated now.

that be difficult here the mail is the accountname, this way all account names are some kind of unique online and in the fora, i think this is somehow better, otherwise if you could choose a forumname and change it to your likings the forum could have 200 lonewolfs or so... i knwo some fora who allow that and belive me that makes it a mess cause you have to moveover the name to se the real unique accountname.

But... where is the overhead of externally loaded graphics if you for example use the same box design over and over. Also the graphics do not get so much bigger and maybe can even stored locally (browsers can do that). Where is the big burden? Are you sure that graphics quality is the big problem here?

At least the Galaxy client could just store the images (including boxes) locally and reduce the burden while increasing the accessing speed tremendously.

Ok then...usually I'm not one of the complainers - but I don't like my "new Account".

-Where is the nice shelf?
-Why am I forced to use a "Galaxy-style-account", even if I'm not interested in Galaxy?
-Look at the screenies attached...there is a patch and a language pack in the "Downloader Links", yes?
-So, why doesn't my download folder show the patch and the language pack, after downloading?

No, I'm not amused, and I guess, I will hold back with new purchases until I see these points worked over.

Edit: the images show up now - at least something (originally, my attached images showed a 404).

:(

Edit 2: Reading over some other posts - I also want the "all games on one site" back.
I use FireShot to picture my whole shelf - nice and convenient - One shot and all is saved...now I have to do 8+ shots to do the same - not nice, not convenient.

caledhel: I had 133 games on my shelf before this and now I have only 122. O_o I don't know exactly what's missing but I can see that Heroes of Might & Magic 5 isn't there anymore, only the expansions. What's going on?
that has happend many many times, press F5 or refresh then it shoud turn to normal dont forget to remove 1, thats the client it is counted as a game i have 354 games now and i knwo i have 353 so the 354 is the galaxy client, i sugested that it would get its own tab like tools or so on the tab so it not be added as a game.



well have to get some food am 2 hours late already

Where is the gift section now? I have a few games I'm planning to give to my brother but I cannot find where my extra games are now.
