Hi Friends!

This problem is new to me. When I start GOG Galaxy 2.0 I'll get the followings:

The procedure entry point Direct3DCreate9Ex could not be located in (C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\libcef.dll)

I am using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Intel Core i5-4590T CPU @ 2.00 GHz, 8,0GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4600

Please help me.

Hello. My advice as a dedicated non-Galaxy user is:

1. Use a web browser to access GOG.com and log in to the site.

2. Hover over your screenname tab at the top to see a menu with several options, click "Games."

3. Click on the tab of the individual game you want to download (or type it in the respective search bar within your library).

4. Scroll down to where it says ">Download Offline Backup Game Installers."

5. Click ">Download Offline Backup Game Installers" so it is unobscured.

6. Under "Game Installers and Updates" click the files in order to start downloading the most recent installer plus its accompanying .bin files.

6a. Under "DLC installers" click the DLC installers you also want to install. Only download ones that are actual expansion packs or cosmetic content installers. I say this, as sometimes there are erroneous installers for "Extras" files that apparently do nothing. The actual "Extras" files if there are any would be listed on the right side of the game tab and for example would be like a soundtrack, manual, etc. If you see a "Soundtrack installer" for instance, you shouldn't need to install it (someone please correct me if there are any exceptions) as it will do nothing, but by downloading the Soundtrack folder from the extras tab will give you the soundtrack you want.

7. Go to your PC's downloads folder and you will see your files which you can then use to install the game (or, you can put them in a folder for easier organization with your other games, which I recommend as it is good to save the offline installers and have them on hand).

Looks like something related with VC Redist, have you tried to reinstall Galaxy?

Kill it with fire.

Or contact customer support and wait a few months.
When something is that broken that you keep having problems with it, why keep using it ?...
This person in the Galaxy 2.0 subforum also had a libcef-related problem, though a different error message: https://www.gog.com/forum/general_beta_gog_galaxy_2.0/gog_galaxy_crash_on_start_includes_fix
