Hi all!

As you may know, future scenes of the second 'Back to the Future' film take place on 21 October 2015. Finally, that day has come. I suppose many people already have got annoyed with all this 'Future has come!' stuff, but I think it's a good occasion to make a giveaway I was planning for a long time.

To participate, post anything about time travel. It may be your favourite book/film/videogame, your thoughts about the possibility of creating time machine or maybe your own experience as time traveler. Was it you who tried to help king Matyas to capture Constantinople? Or maybe you arrived in our time from far future to see the vintage season?

Prizes are three point'n'click adventures:
A New Beginning - simple and nice Öko-Thriller from Daedalic Entertainment. History rewriting team included.
Ben There, Dan That! + Time Gentlemen, Please! - two remarkable indie adventures. English humour, time paradoxes, lot of fun. And nazi dinosaurs, yep.
And the third is, of course, Back to the Future: The Game - Telltale's sequel to one of the greatest comedy films ever. Great Scott, this giveaway couldn't be complete without this game! =)

All are GOG versions.

Rules:
- You may enter for one game. Please state what game you want.
- You may only enter for yourself.
- Keys are for your own use only and not for trading, re-gifting etc.
- People who are known to be scammers are not allowed to enter.
- Winners will be selected by random.

Giveaway ends on Friday, 30 October, at 9.00 GMT. Winners will be announced a little later.

P.S. Sorry for my English, I know it's far from perfect. =)

Not in, as I already have all those games, but +1 for the giveaway. Although Ben There, Dan That and Time Gentlemen, Please! feel more like Bill & Ted than Back to the Future. Wich is probably why I liked those games so much :D
COOL, I'll go in for "Back to the Future" now that I have a PC that can play it.

I don't know if this counts as an entry and if not, just toss me, but when I think of time travel, especially in movies, only one scene comes to mind:

THIS! XD
I went to a lecture given by a physics professor on the subject of time travel.

He commented on methods mentioned in popular fiction. Also, he described a few impossible theoretical methods using equations. They typically depended on unavailable resources: "Suppose we had a cylinder of infinite mass", etc. It was initially quite interesting.

But the lecture was open to the public. And so it became more interesting. It wasn't long before a selection of vocal time-travellers and local yoga instructors from the audience took over. They had questions. They had stories. Some even brought their own time maps and waved them around while explaining where and when they'd been. They had chakra drawings and excited claims of moving though all of time within their minds.

This was twenty years ago, before the internet was ubiquitous, and this bunch was thrilled to have a venue for their curious hobbies.

The professor endured it all, with a tremendously-entertained smile on his face.

Not in, thanks.
I generally don't like listing 'favourites' because it often depends on my mood and I have a hard time picking just one! But when you mentioned time travel these are the first that sprung to mind that I enjoy a lot:

Short story: By His Bootstraps (1941) by Anson MacDonald (Robert A. Heinlein)
Novella: The Time Trap (1938) by Henry Kuttner
Novel: Magus Rex (1983) by Jack Lovejoy
Movie: 12 Monkeys (1995)

EDIT: Not in, but thanks, DedIago!

Are these GOG games or DRM-free games? Regardless of what they are, thank you for your generosity.

01kipper: I'm in only if it's for the Steam game because GOG doesn't have a Mac-compatible version :(

Mea culpa, forgot to mention it. All three are GOG versions.
Ok, I'm in for Ben There, Dan That! + Time Gentlemen, Please! (cause I have the rest) and here is my video (not original, sorry) with great motivation at the end straight from Doc Brown! https://youtu.be/JwL0HZSc2Sc
I think it would be illegal not to link this.
You only need to watch 1:24-1:40.

Heh, awesome.

Not in right now, but maybe in 20 years I'll come back in time and enter.

+1 to the OP for the GA!

Great. I'm in for Ben There, Dan That! + Time Gentlemen, Please!. Again, thanks for your generosity and the giveaway!

There is another reason I love Final Fantasy V over FFVI. It has spells that manipulate time. Mostly Return, which takes you to the beginning of any battle. As for time travel itself, I don't think its very possible in the real world; unless it would be in the form of something like... that movie was called Idiocracy right? The one where a man finds himself in a world that lives by idiocy and wants to travel back in time to when that wasn't the case. Well, something like that.

Time travel would allow someone that isn't supposed to be doing this or that or existing there at that specific time to happen by undoing time for them or advancing it for them. For it to do that, I think, is not easy. We haven't even invented teleportation yet, let alone time teleportation. So yeah, these are my thoughts exactly.

In for Back to the Future: The Game, thanks!
If this counts as a proper entry, I would like to try my luck for A New Beginning

Very nice time-travel movies you probably haven't watched:
Primer
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Looper

Thank you!
