The current superb Silo TV series is based on that trilogy, and has to be the closest I have ever seen for a TV series to be like the book. Fantastic casting and production.

Series 1 was an all time best for Apple TV, and right now we are halfway through the airing of Series 2.

When I say SciFi, it is probably best described as futuristic, and probably closer to reality in many ways, enough to make you feel uncomfortable and worry, while at the same time being a cracking story about what could happen. Though like any make believe story, you have to suspend disbelief a bit, and it is well worth the effort to do so.

The story is so good, that I feel the urge to buy it again. :lol:

When I first read the trilogy, it was probably the biggest indie ebook hit ever, and hadn't yet become mainstream. I first heard about it on the old Tuesday Book Club TV series, many years ago.

I raved about the story online years ago.

I loved the ebooks so much, that when Hugh Howey allowed many other writers to add to the series, I eventually bought many of them also, some being damn good stories too.

I watched Silo few months ago. Didn't like the show pretty much, but the premise for season 2 was quite good.
