The question is, what monster did you find scariest as a kid?
I made the mistake of watching An American Werewolf In London over a friends house when I was eight or nine years old and it scared the crap out of me. Ever since werewolves have been my personal boogeymen.

Which is yours and why?

Another nice giveaway, I'll be in for Sunless Sea please :)

I never really watched monster movies (or anything scary) as a kid (or now)...
I don't think there was any monster that I was scared of or found particularly unsettling.
But I was really scared of the dark as a child, particularly if alone. I think it was not knowing what was (or could be) there that frightened me most.

Other than that I always found true (or 'true') stories about murders a bit unsettling, like I read a book or short story about Lizzie Borden and that stuck with me for quite a while.
A scary GA. Thanks Doc0075 for your generosity ! +1

As a kid, I was afraid by "It", the horrible clown played by Tim Curry in the miniserie Stephen King's IT (1990). I though "It" was real and lived under my bed the night. I had the habit to watch horrors movies when I was a kid, but I never forgot that creature and I'm still reluctant to watch it nowadays.
I think it's the origin of my coulrophobia LOL

If you are agree, I would like to be in for Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition.
I'm in for: AMNESIA: A MACHINE FOR PIGS

I don't remember being scared of monsters, we were pretty sheltered from movies back in the 80s. The biggest monster I was scared of as a young boy was John Bentley, an older bully boy on my street and I was scared to start school because he'd be there. There was another child sucking up to him on our street and he was riding John Bentley's bike, a proper bike at that. Once I got my next door neighbour both on our tricycles decided to create a trap for him. On either side of the street propelled on our tricycles we took a long skipping rope and tripped over the kid on John Bentley's bike. It seemed like my genius plan had born fruit as we dashed away but John Bentley was faster and ran over to sort us out. I don't actually think he beat us up though so maybe he wasn't that much of a monster after all and maybe it was just me who was a little monster, I forget.
Neat giveaway, I'm in for Dead Space please. :)

Scariest monster, huh?
I don't recall the name of the movie, but it was about some mutated cannibal in a dystopian future.
I was around 8 years old and watched the movie with my cousin who was 13 at the time, the first appearance of the mutant scared us both shitless and neither of us was able to find sleep the following nights. xD

I've been trying to find this movie since then. I just have to watch the movie to see how bad it probably is.
+1. Thanks for the giveaway, this is very generous. :) I'm in for Oxenfree.

Folktales scared me as a kid, things like the weeping woman and a Venezuelan ghost tale of an evil spirit (el Silbón) who carried a bag with the bones of his family, his victims would hear him whistling as he approached.

Happy Halloween, everyone! :)
Chucky was the only reason why i couldnt be alone in the dark when i was a kid. I admit he still scares me.

I want to try my chance for Dragon Age Origins - Ultimate Edition.

Thx for the giveaway.

Just to point out that you guys can enter for more than one game.
It will increase your chances of winning something.
I can't think of a single one that actually scared me as a kid.
Perhaps Hellraiser or Leprechaun

I'm in for:

1. DRAGON AGE™: ORIGINS - ULTIMATE EDITION
I'm in for Oxenfree! Thanks for yet another great giveaway!

When I was around 8, I watched Creepshow with my brother, who is 7 years older than me. I vividly remember being terrified of the dead guy who comes out of his grave looking for his cake. This guy:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083767/mediaviewer/rm383849472

Having seen the movie as an adult, it really isn't scary at all, but it sure terrified me back then!
I'll try Dead Space, thanks.

One monster?
When I was little, I was afraid of everything XD
(even about some scenes in Disney classics lol)

Many horror movies from the 70s, then, were damn frightening.
(Texas CM, Aliens, various B movies)

Anyway, I'll have to choose IT too (1990,part1), because it made me afraid of clowns for a while O_o
Not In, but the scariest monster when I was a kid?

Easy.

My grandmother.

For me it was not a specific monster, more like something was there with me in my room when I was in bed at night.
I used to turn to face the wall and hope that it wouldn't touch my back or something... :D

Anyway I'm in for Dragon Age:Origins.
Thx for the giveaway!
