Including GOG, with their seemingly random version numbers that rarely correlate to the game's actual version. I think they do it intentionally to obfuscate when versions here lag behind other stores (as they often do) .

If they want to have an internal index or version number that's fine, but they should also use a public versioning of the game, so you can quickly compare what version vs the newest version vs specific version for mods and the like.
