It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

tremere110: You could always go to xiles.net and download nexusfont. It will find duplicates for you and allow you to delete them. Not sure if that's your issue though - couldn't hurt to check though.

It could be GoG's poor web design at work again. If the font appears fine in other browsers then it's an issue of something on GoG's end conflicting with your browser somehow.
i'll do the best i can

in the meantime, i tried to look at reply window code (again, don't know what i'm doing) and it says the font is lucida grande?

i opened my photoshop and thats the only font that has some weird red small 'a' symbol that seems to stand for 'type 1' font? i dont know; seems coincidental it's the only one that has a red highlight. i can't even uninstall and replace because it's a paid font (apparent lee), an' i'm dang well not re-installing photoshop

eh, i give up
but thanks for all help <3

Fairfox: it's the reply box i'm not seeing it. same with colon.
Is this still a problem?

What happens when you use the key codes? For example, the colon is ASCII hexadecimal 3B, which is decimal 58. To type an ascii character with the keyboard, first ensure that your [NumLock] key is active. Then hold the [Alt] key down with a finger on your left hand, whilst typing two zeroes, the five and then the eight on the numerical keypad. The colon should appear, just as if you hit the semicolon key with (either) [Shift].

Does that change the output?

I'm not sure why it's only happening in the Add new post dialog, but it does seem to be some sort of (erroneous) re-mapping. Maybe you have a game loaded that has remapped some keys?

Does it happen in other applications, like a word processor, or even the title of a file or directory in the OS? (Laptops, for one, have a way of remapping the rightmost keys on a standard keyboard, using a non-standard function key, to mimic the numerical keypad. In such a case, numbers would appear when typing with the right hand, for touch-typing.)

Okay, so we can rule out that it is a keyboard man-in-the-middle attack (someone reprogramming the 9 key, etc. to display something wrong).

As it seems to be only the reply dialog (and not the website) it must be some weird coding in this dialog (I'm staring at it right now, of course).

How about testing it from a different device? Like a smartphone, or another computer, with the same account.

PS Apologies for the late reply, I've had local issues. :)

Good advice for OP, and "local issues"? That must be why we haven't had our usual longwinded talks on every topic under the sun/moon/stars as of late. ;)
