I love Behemoth, so I recognized the similarities immediately - like "Nascency" is basically "Genesee Avenue", "Maleficaeum" sounds a lot like "Behemoth" and both albums have a track featuring Haley Stewart.
And hey, The Uncanny Valley was awesome! Not quite as good as Dangerous Days, still good though.

On a related note: I was just at a GosT concert and am now in possession of a signed "behemoth" vinyl.

It comes down to preferences, i prefer the previous stuff from him, it's more atmospheric (ex. Meet Jimmy), the new stuff for me is just uninspired heavy darksynth and if i'm in the mood for that i rather listen to Gost or Dan Terminus.

Edit: And yes, i realize that i'm in the minority, folks like his new stuff but like i said, it's just not for me.
