I think GOG would unreject nowadays, but it's possible the devs don't want to deal with GOG anymore, depending on how frustrating the experience was. I'm tried to reach out to Ska Studios several times but never got a response.

1300+ votes - https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/salt_and_sanctuary . I imagine even when GOG rejected it, it had a decent number of votes, which is certainly frustrating to me

Honestly, from what I could gather by SCPM's comment (October14, 2016) and the devs twitter, it seems that they just refused to make changes to the game's architecture, so as not to make it steam/online dependent.
If that's indeed the case, then GOG's not to blame for this one.

The link you posted doesn't actually prove that GOG rejected Salt & Sanctuary, even though your post incorrectly alleges that it does.

I'm pretty sure those devs never bothered to offer that game to GOG, which is the reason why it isn't here.

Anyway, that's a different topic that has nothing to do with these Kagura games, and hence has no relevance to this thread.

You do realize they are part of an alternate Universe/dimmension where our rules and morals doesnt apply?

Funny how one person will say GOG left money on the table by not releasing these originally, and another will say GOG left money on the table by releasing these instead of some others. :p

I'm a broken record but I'd rather have more not less (as long as they pass a basic QA test), unless the devs have other games here already that are missing crucial updates.

I really hope (ʃƪ˘ڡ˘) that number of such Games (with erotic connotations / erotic content) in GoG Store will only increase, but only due to quality Games, not various junk made on the knee. And of course need to exclude all games that have at least a slight hint of malware / crypto miners and other scum-ware!

Please have Rance and Full Metal Daemon: Muramasa.
I've talked to the guy in charge of Muramasa. I'm sure he wants it up there along with other Jast titles. It just depends on GOG. MangaGamer's people have also informed me that they will have a lot more games for GOG in the future. Hopefully some will be Rance. These companies are more than willing, but the ball is in GOG's court due to their nature of personal curation.

Senran Kagura was actually going to be released here when Xseed first localized it. GOG was even featured on the banner for it that they used on their Twitter page for future game releases. It even had a release date. GOG rejected it at the last minute. I was really mad and willing to pay full price on that day.

GOG didn't reject it, but XSEED said that they ran into 'technical issues' with a DRM-free build:
